| As a serial killer Gacy usually had all aspects of the murder planned out. Sometimes he would pose as a police officer to lure young victims to his home. Other times he would invite young men over to his home where he would beat them, rape them, offer them food, quote verses of the bible then strangle them. Sometimes he would show the boys his trick handcuffs then convince them to try them on, then he would switch them with real ones and attack them once they put the handcuffs on. After it was all done he would bury their bodies underneath the crawl space of his home.
