Im back...maybe

Hey! My wedding turned out to be a lot of fun! I must say Im quite glad that its over (my mom hates hearing that!). The week before the wedding and the wedding day were the most fun and the most stressful days I have ever had! I love being married. I feel so at peace. I know that Jesse is the one that God had been planning for me all my life and there is no greater feeling :) Life hasn't been perfect since we got married, its been quite difficult. Jesse's father was diagnosed with brain cancer 3 days after we got back from our honeymoon so the last month has been quite a roller coaster of emotions. Jesse and I are very happy together but it has been really hard to handle all of this. Dan (Jesse's dad) is doing well. He is on 4 forms of chemo and he is walking now for the first time in a month! His right arm and leg weren't working because the tumors were effecting the part of his brain that controls his motor skills on the right side of this body. Im not sure if the tumors are shrinking or not but he is walking and that is a great sign of progress to me! The doc didn't seem to think that he would be living much longer, let alone walking! Please be praying! I am really pressing into God and asking for a miracle of healing!

Wow its been a long time since I have posted anything! I almost forgot how to use my xanga account! The wedding is exactly 4 weeks away and I CANNOT believe it! I am soooooo excited! Jesse and I are really getting tired of saying "goodbye" every night instead of just "goodnight". We have been totally swamped. Jesse works non-stop and I work part time at my jobs but full time on the wedding! My mom has been doing a bunch. She is going to need a week at a spa after this is all over. haha I wish I were rich. Anyways, there are so many little things that have piled up to this last month. I think May will be the hardest month of all. We will have had a 6 month engagement but it doesn't really feel like we had all that much time to put the wedding together. Well, I better get some rest. Im trying to get lots of sleep and not get sick at all before the big day! Love ya'll!!!

I can't believe I am getting married in a little over 3 months! I keep feeling like its all a dream and its just so far away that its never going to happen but I know that its going to be here before I know it! I am so excited. Jesse and I have been trying to prepare ourselves as much as possible for marriage. We know that there is no way we can be experts on the matter before hand but we figure whatever help we can get under our belt before hand, the better! So far we have listened to a whole marriage series on tape from his parents pastor, we are reading "Love and Respect", "Marriage on the Rock", and "Captivating". I personally am a little shell shocked about marriage as of this year but we are determined to keep God as the center of our relationship and I figure that should take out most of the scary stuff. It is really encouraging to look at successful marriages because it just gives me hope that it really can be done. Jesse's Grandma and Grandpa Boss will have been married 52 years on the day of our wedding and I am so blessed by that! I feel like God arranged that to work out that way just to encourage us with that amazing family history of a beautiful God centered marriage. If you have any marriage advise or any good books or tapes to recommend please leave me a comment. Thanks!

The moon was beautiful when I got done teaching tonight at 7 so I called up Jesse who was about to come to my house and I said "Bring me a big sweatshirt and bundle up...I want to go to the beach to see the moon!". First of all you have to know that it is freakishly cold for Florida tonight. It was 37 degrees at the beach but we put on some layers and braved the cold for some much needed play time! The moon somehow got much smaller between the time it took my breath away at 7 when it was huge and orange and the time we got to the beach, but it was still a beautiful night. Here's some pics. The beach is still pretty messed up from all our hurricanes but I love it for who it is on the inside...not what it appears to be on the outside. haha We had lots of fun. I love my Jesse...he's amazing. Everybody should have one in their lives!

Climbing on what used to be "The wall" at New Smyrna...dang hurricanes!

What a cute booty! (I can say that cuz Im marrying him in June hehe)

LOOK MOM, IM A SEA CUCUMBER!

AHHH!

The wedding plans are going along slowly but surely. We have the date, church, reception site, flower girl dresses, bridesmaids dresses (about to be ordered), my dress (ordered, coming in April), caterer and bubbles. Jesse, my mom and I have all been working so much that we have to work on the wedding in small steps. I have to meet with the florist really soon and pick out flowers. I want different shades of pink; like light pink, bright pink and dark pink. The bridesmaids dresses are a color called "Jamaican Mist" which is like a really pretty aqua color. The flower girls are white with pink roses. My dress is white...and thats all I can say because Im not sure what little eyes may be reading this(::cough::Jesse::cough::). So my wedding theme colors are pink and white but I think with the aqua dresses and the pink flowers its just going to look really summery. Im getting REALLY excited! Jesse and I still have to find a place to live. He's been working SOO much lately. He gets off work like 2 hours later than he is supposed to like every night! I miss him but he's working hard. I hope you are all have fun and keeping life light!!!
