So I haven't posted in forever, I know.  I just don't really have anything to post up here that you couldn't ask me in person, over IM, or on facebook.  Anyway, I thought this was worth posting.  It's SOOOO true it seems.  Behold!  The Return of Dilbert!

Hank the What?

So the question has finally been officially raised.  Why am I called Hank the Janitor?  Why a janitor?  Why Hank?  Hopefully this post will satisfy your insatiable desire for answers to these important life questions.

Several years ago I was in a discipleship group with about 3 other guys, so 4 total people for those of you who might be public schooled.  There were just 3 of us there one day and we decided to clean the upstairs of our church.  Well as we're cleaning Max and I decided that we should have a Janitor sounding name.  Well, Hank was the name I came up with.  Max is named Gus for any who care.  And that is what gave rise to the Janitor theme.  All the HanktheJanitor emails and screen names and the JanitorialPride and all, it all came from that day.  Does that answer your questions?

What's up doc?

So I haven't posted in almost forever, though it's not been as forever as it has been since Trevor or Alex posted, or even Michele.  That was semi-confusing.  So anyway, here's what is happening in my life right now.  Just about nothing.  I'm working part time and then doing a whole lot of nothing.  Although I must say I have been reading a bit more.  You should all be proud of me, I finally finished "The Law"!  I'm working on "The Real Lincoln" right now, interesting book.  Anyway, so school starts for me on the 5th and I still need to buy books, oops.  Oh well, it'll be ok I'm sure.  So now that I've probably broken every major grammatical rule with this huge old stinking paragraph I will conclude this post.  Have a good one ya'll!

Bourne is Back and Better than Before

WOW!  There is no other word to describe my thoughts after seeing the midnight showing of "The Bourne Ultimatum."  It is the best of all three movies.  It is clean, it is action packed, it is Bourne.  I would tell you all about it but you may not have seen it yet, so I'll be good.  Just rest assured, you will not consider the money you spend to go see it wasted.  I've seen it twice already.  Amazing movie, I feel all warm and fuzzy inside.  Ok, ok, I'll shut up now, have a good one!

Love

Well, I haven't posted in a while, as you're probably aware.  Thus, I am now posting for you, as you are also probably aware.  I just found this today and thought you poetry people might appreciate it.  It's a poem written by Dave Barry.  That should tell you enough.  It's entitled "Love."

''O love is a feeling that makes a person strive

''To crank out one of the Best Poems of 1995;

''Love is what made Lassie the farm dog run back to the farmhouse to alert little Timmy's farm family whenever little Timmy fell into a dangerous farm pit;

''Love is a feeling that will not go away, like a fungus in your armpit;

''So the bottom line is that there will always be lovers

''Wishing to express their love in an heirloom quality book with imported French marbleized covers;

''Which, at $49.95 a pop multiplied by 3,000 poets

''Works out to gross literary revenues of roughly $150,000, so it's

''A good bet that whoever thought up the idea of publishing this book

''Doesn't care whether this last line rhymes.''

Isn't that beautiful?
