please bring in food- any kind of food but preferably not junk food!
i like things like dduk buk gee and enchiladas. kimbap is good too. so is anythign really LOL okay? got it?
IF YOU DONT BRING IN FOOD, WE WON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO EAT.
and if you can't bring anything, its okay to leave money in our mailboxes as donations so we can go out and buy the food for you! just leave the $ in an envelope and put it in our mailboxes in room 334:

just a reminder- ALL DAY is coming up this weekend! we really encourage you to go, it'll be AWESOME :) i promise.
what is all day? its like.. a revival movement praise night revolution! kind of. you'll have to go to find out, i can't explain it (and plus this is my first time going too LOL)

| we're baaaaaacckkkkk!heyyyy guys! its your favorite person again! and i'm pretty darn excited to announce that SEEKERS is starting up again soon! so here are some dates you SHOULD remember. and attend. :)
1) Monday, Sept 25- CLUB FAIR. if you guys have time afterschool, drop by the caf to support (shout and stuff) for seekers!
2) Wednesday, Sept 27- SEE YOU AT THE POLE. SYATP is a student based, student led morning to pray at our school's flagpole. we're going to meet at the flagpole at 6:30 AM on wednesday to pray for our school, for seekers, our church, and whatever else we need to bring to God. don't worry if 6:30 seems a little outlandish, you can drop in anytime you want.

the Pole™ is a time for students to pray for their
schools, friends, communities, and countries. Even when
faced with opposition, students should keep in mind that
they have gathered for the sole purpose of prayer.
What should we pray
for?
•
Pray for the needs of your campus, community and country,
and for those in authority.
• Claim God’s power over Satan’s influence
in the lives of your peers through alcohol, drugs, sexual
immorality, suicide, the occult, etc.
• Pray for the gospel to be made clear on your campus
throughout the year.
• Commit yourself to be involved in reaching out to
your classmates who do not know God’s love and
forgiveness.

Can anyone guess the answer to this equation?
FLUSHING + EVANGELISM + PRAYER + RALLY+ 7 PM = ?
(Hint* the answer is above the question)
On August 27th, folks from Campus Crusade for Christ will join us on our
second journey to evangelize in the streets of Flushing.
We'll be watching
the Mark Cahill video to prepare us so be sure to be at FBC at 2:55!!!! During
the evangelism, Eagles' Wings' ministries will join us to pray and
evanglize.
THEN after the FLUSHANGELISM...there is a free dinner for us at ASIAN
ASSEMBLY OF GOD...and thats NOT IT--- EAGLES WINGS' MINISTRIES will also be
hosting a prayer rally at 7PM after the dinner--the event includes: worship,
prayer, intercession and impartation, encouragement.
This event is for ALL but the focus will be for
4 areas:
1) ACTS 3:1 and those involved and committed to this
ministry
2) Seekers Christian Fellowhip (especially leadership in the
respective high school ministries)
3) Emphasis on See You At The
Pole
4)
The ministry of Prayer by and
for youth (which ACTS 3:1 is engaged
in) and the possibility of a
House of Prayer Youth Watch
Be sure to invite all your friends, brother & sisters--and age will not
matter! Although it seems youth geared and oriented, all ages are really
welcome. SO POST THIS ON YOUR XANGA---CALL YOUR FRIENDS---ANNOUNCE AT
CHURCH---BE SURE TO TELL ALL!!
we expect to see you guys there if you can make it =) FBC aka first baptist church is on the corner of sanford and union street in flushing. you cant miss it.. its a very churchy looking church haha. we'll be evangelizing around the flushing library/main street area so if evangelism is your calling (and even if it isnt!) you should come!
btw im REALLY looking forward to this coming year (at least for seekers) loll i hope to see all you old faces back there!

| last minute reminderNYC CITYWIDE SEEKERS PICNIC IS TOMORROWWW!
- its going to be in chinatown (since it might be raining) at TRUE LIGHT Lutheran Church. so we're all going to meet together afterschool at the flag pole to go to chinatown!
- bring dessert, entertainment, whatever.
- also bring $5 to cover food costs..
i actually dont know that much about it.. but theres going to be lotsa food and lotsa GSUS. (which is actually a guitar chord, isnt that cool? okay maybe im just random LOL) umm yeah I BETTER SEE ALL OF YOU TOMORROW.
