Question: Was Christ able to sin?
Things to chew on:
1) If not, does this compromise Christ's free will?
2) If not, does it mean that Christ was actually tempted?
3) If so, what would be the consequences if He had sinned?
4) If so, how does Christ's temptation compare to ours (that is, our
"sin nature" is an internal pulling that leads us down the wrong path.
Did Christ have this internal pulling? Compare concepts from Scripture;
that is, cross reference things like James 1:14 to 1 Corinthians
15:45-49 and Hebrews 4:15)?
Some verses for reference:
1) Philippians 2:6-8 (the humanity of Christ)
2) James 1:13 (God cannot be tempted)
3) Matthew 4:1-11 (the temptation of Christ)
4) Hebrews 4:15 (Christ was tempted in every way we were)
5) 1 Corinthians 15:45-49 (Christ is the second Adam)

| Back from Cleveland. Things are good. God is good.
Remember, prayer is important. Never lose sight of that. If we don't pray, is it any wonder we get a human result? Without prayer, we're only putting in a human effort, so it makes sense we'd get a human result.

| Just a few more days of misery, and then I will be done with this ridiculous quarter. And then only one more quarter to go until I graduate.
Oh, and by the way, life is amazing.
