| Oh. My. Gosh. An update from...who else...me! Hah.
Well, I can pretty much sum up the past 3-4 weeks in 3 words - life is hectic. If you, for any reason whatsoever (maybe because you're a little 10-year-old reading my site...God forbid), do not understand the word hectic, let me give you an alternative adjective - HELL.
First, work. I closed our store for the first time ever on Christmas Eve. We were "closed" at 8 and didn't get out of there until 9:30, or at least I didn't. What do you mean, Blaise worked on a Saturday? I went in past sundown...you moron. Ooh, that rhymes. And, one idiot is gone. Thank goodness. And, I had a 39.10 hour week. FUN! I seriously hope I get a promotion, not to manager level, but high enough to where I don't have to listen to the stupid employees whose lives are so screwed up, I'd never take their personal, let alone, work, advice anyway. I'm in a bad mood, what, and you don't like the tone of this post? Ooh. We can fix that.
So, school life is just joyous. Seriously. In a few months, I'll be going to college and maybe working as well so I'll never have to put up with my family. Oh. That didn't sound good either. They're not that bad. Actually, I hope I do stay in the area, mainly because I'd want to see my family and of course, work every now and then to pay for the commuting gas fee.
Did I mention good news? Yes...I got money for Christmas which is going toward my car...my beautiful car that still isn't in the driveway yet, but it will be, mark my words. Of course, first I need to get a license. Mmmm...bit of another story.
I re-took my SAT with the writing hoping to get a better score. It didn't change. I'm still average. I re-took my ACT with the writing hoping to get a better score. It didn't change either. Although, I got an 11/12 on my essay. But...the composite was a *insert bad word here* 27. Average. Again. Can you say pissed? I don't even want to talk about it. Wait, yes, I do. My biggest complaint is the absolutely retarded science section. Science = General Science, Biology, Chemistry, Honors Physics, and Advanced Biology to me. Science on the ACT = a bunch of *bad word here* diagrams and charts and experiment readings you have to dissect apart to answer one question. AHHHHHHHHH. Give me analogies...I'll happily do those instead. Gar. Gar. Gar.
Hmm...all that matters in life right now is my audition for CCM on February 3rd. If I can pull off a full-ride (sounds nice...), I think I may get my pretty car. If not...well...but I have to get lots of stuff back in my fingers and work on lots more stuff...and...argh. Stress.
Ok...now stop moping around on Xanga and go do something productive. |
