Gender: Female
Interests: Music--classical, Latina, swing and big band, ethnic, jazz, Christian contemporary, and some alternative.
I play the flute, alto sax, and piccolo.
People--I am currently investigating what jobs would satisfy my God-given need to work with and help people on more than a surface level. Counselor? Psychologist? We'll see.
Animals-- Love them all! But I don't necessarily *like* them all...like cats. And spiders. And wolves!! Scary...
I also love reading, especially the Anne of Green Gables series by L.M. Montgomery, and Jane Austen novels...sigh. I suppose that makes me a hopeless romantic. But I'm not as bad as my sisters...and I *don't* cry at movies. Expertise: This tiny, wimpy space could never hope to contain all of them. ALSO, I fear that listing them all might result in such cataclysmic results as..oh, I don't know...the EXPLODING of all lesser BRAINS?!! (In other words...tengo nada.) | If you want updates on yours truly, Facebook me, or email me at heathper@gmail.com. Have a lovely day!
| WELL, I guess I haven't posted here in a long time (sorry!! ^_^;;), and now I feel as though anything I do post will have to be mind-blowing and glorious, which is just *too much pressure,* especially on a Sunday afternoon when I am procrastinating writing three more journal entries for my CORE 300 class, my Statistics homework, and my Spanish homework as well. And so, I will simply pretend that there has been no gap between my postings and go on as usual. Yesss! | | |
| Classes are out Friday, after the finals are done! Yeah! | | |
| Via DolorosaDown the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem that day The Soldiers tried to clear the narrow street But the crowd pressed in to see The Man condemned to die on Calvary
He was bleeding from a beating There were stripes upon His back And He wore a crown of thorns Upon His head
And he bore with every step The scorn of those who Cried out for His death!
Down the Via Dolorosa Called the Way of Suffering Like a Lamb came The Messiah Christ the King!
But He chose to walk that road Out of His love for you and me Down the Via Dolorosa All the way to Calvary
The Blood that would cleanse The souls of all men Made its way through the heart Of Jerusalem!
Down the Via Dolorosa Called the Way of Suffering Like a Lamb came The Messiah Christ the King!
But He chose to walk that road Out of His love for you and me Down the Via Dolorosa All the way to Calvary
| Hey, guys!
I appreciate the prayers for my family. For those of you who don't
know, my grandpa died this Saturday, and the funeral was Tuesday. It's
been a hard time for my family and I, but at the same time it was
really wonderful to be able to sit back and see for myself the friends
and legacy my wonderful grandpa left behind. He will be very missed,
but I know I'll see him again. I would just ask for your prayers for my
family who don't plan to see him again, since they are nonbelievers...
WELL, I have to run, have a sophomore writing test to see to!! :(
More later,
