Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. -Dr. Seuss

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person who wasn't supposed to let us down probably will. You'll have your heart broken, probably more than once, and its harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend and you might even fall in love with them. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing so fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every 60 seconds you spend angry or upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.

Christmas Tequila Cookies

1 cup dark brown sugar
1 cup (two sticks) butter
1 cup granulated sugar
4 large eggs
2 cups dried fruit (dried cranberries or raisins)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans
2 cups all purpose flour
1 bottle Jose Cuervo™ Tequila (silver or gold, as desired)

  1. First, sample the Cuervo to check quality.
  2. Take a large bowl.
  3. Check the Cuervo to be sure it is of the highest quality.
  4.  Pour another 4 ounces in a measuring cup and drink.
  5. Turn on the electric mixer. Beat one cup of the butter in a large fluffy bowl.
  6. Add one teaspoon sugar. Beat again.
  7.  At this point, it is best to make sure the Cuervo is still OK. Try another 4 ounces, just in case.
  8. Turn off the mixerer thingy.
  9.  Break two leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit, picking the frigging fruit off the floor.
  10. Mix on the turner. If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers, just pry it loose with a screwdriver.
  11. Sample the Cuervo to check for tonsisticity.
  12. Next, sift 2 cups of salt or something.
  13. Check the Jose Cuervo.
  14. Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts.
  15. Add one table.
  16. Add a spoon of sugar, or somefink. Whatever you can find.
  17. Greash the oven.
  18. Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over.
  19. Don't forget to beat off the turner.
  20. Finally, throw the bowl through the window, finish the Cose Juervo and make sure to put the stove in the dishwasher.
