.hey.

Haven't updated in a while...So here are some quick facts:

-Served as the worship intern for First Baptist Church Festus-Crystal City for 3 months (preparing Sunday morning worship, serving on what seemed like every committee possible, singing in the praise team, and organizing choir practices, etc).
-I am now a Financial Service Representative for Commerce Bank in St. Louis.
-Going to attempt to buy a house in the next few months (closer to where I work)
-My car is almost paid off (weeeeee)

WHAT A WEEK...

First I got strep...and then in the middle of dealing with that... I get an ear infection that nearly made me cuss on 3 occassions.

First week of a new job and I am drowning in sickness. Happy adult life to me, eh?

Oh my I haven't updated in a while.

First of all, I'm having cell phone issues. It likes to turn itself off while I'm texting or on the phone--most of the time with my mom. Sometimes I do not receive voicemails until days later.  So if you have fallen victim to this occurence, I do apologize. I cannot replace the phone until August when my contract is up.

In good news, the church has offered to bring me on staff until I accept a full time position. I will only be working about 16-20 hours a week, but they are being completely generous in the pay and it will help me out incredibly.  Plus it will give me something to do--other than watch Dr. Phil, like I am right now. =)

Life at home is different...it is an adjustment to be home under a parental roof again.  Even though I am a college graduate, I'm still the daughter living with mom. I feel like I'm in high school again in some ways.  Life "post graduation" is not what I expected...I had in mind that I would be instantly employed, living on my own, and paying off all debts.  God obviously had other plans in mind. My mom said this is His way of making me "take a vacation", being that I did not while racing through college.

I can't really say I miss Bolivar, but I do miss my friends. Please stay in touch--I have unlimited texting...even if my phone is of the devil!
