Friends I do not believe that a soul On this planet Could survive without them They are, without a doubt, Some of the greatest Assets that we Are given by God However, from time to time We sadly take Our friends for granted Forgetting and discarding them Out of our own self-pity What is a true friend? What is it That seperates them from the rest? A true friend (I believe): Accountable Caring Willing Strong of heart And even though It seems extreme A friend should be able to die for another For if there is anything That i value more than my own life It is the lives of my friends And even if they would not do the same I would stand by what i believe Because one of my greatest friends died for me I consider this a type of creed. But recently, i took my own beliefs and in blind stupidity i threw them out the window. I am sorry. I regret what I did to the fullest extent. I did not mean to hurt you, but i did not take into consideration the longterm effects of my actions and decisions. I hope for, but do not expect, any forgiveness. I am truly sorry. ~Philip Todd |
