Week of My 21st Birthday/ NY MINI :)

    Hello everyone!!!! ^___^

Man this is the first time that i didn't write a blog on my exact bday!!! boo but its okay! lol

SO I turned 21 last monday on the 16th!! haha but i had class that night till 9pm ..so yep...that's what you get for having a bday on a weekday haha

But on wednesday, ate dinner after class with irene, ricky, tina, wayne,and bong at applebees in bridgewater! they brought us drinks! ahha of course i didn't even get buzz ..weak drink lol . afterward went to wayne house to watch "SHOOTER" OMG I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!! sooo freakin good!

okay after that...i was waiting for the weekend to come for the ....*drum rollz** NY MINI!! woohoo! sux that i dind't get to play this year...but haha it was still fun going and watching the boyz play!!

Saturday July 21, 2007: so i woke up maddd early at like 5:30am to get ready and meet up with jamie and yj at 6:30am at route 22 west. got to pizza hut and waited for jamie! me and yj waited for jamie for a good 10 minutes and he finally came haha. bong left after she dropped me off. headed to NYC and it was awesome..found a parking spot and went to Seward Park! now if you ever wanna see a whole bunch of chinese ppl all bunch up together..just always come to Seward Park every second to last weekend of July! lol i'm talkin about chinese from all over haha. it was pretty hotness..and what is more hot is that these chinese ppl..plays VOLLEYBALL :) that's a double thumbs up!

so got there and i saw krystal and i pepper with her for a lil bit..then jamie team all finally came. so the PHILLY CIA..the team members were: jamie, john kwon, john, kirby, warren, duc, joey, sai, eric, yg, and nick. erica, susan, and rachel came out and support ! so they didn't even get to play till like 1pm! wow..i seriously could've slept an extra 2 hours and came here and still wait for another hour or so haha..but it was all cool. get to see some of the different teams play from all over. get to see vivian! her team was really good!

so finally CIA played the NY freemason first. um...they reminded me of a JV HIGHSCHOOL volleyball team..man..i used to help coach the boys jv team...and i've seen better..i mean i don't want to be mean..but didint they practice before coming out here? I kinda felt bad for them..but then i saw how happy they were and i finally realized that they were having fun and it wasn't about winnning or losing..it was all for the experience. so GOOD JOB FREEMASON!

afterward..CIA played against the knights..i believe..i don't remember..and then they played against the toronto flying tiger....if u want more detail..go to kirby's xanga haha

after a long day the boyz didn't make it to teh playoff..so tomorrow they gonna play in teh loser round. lol.finally left around 6:30pm.

Sunday July 22, 2007:

This time..i woke up at 7:30 and got there at 8:30 and Ray was already there waiting at the pizza hut. jamie came and this time bong came too! haha we went and picked up Duc in Jersey City and went to NYC..now this time..it was more difficult finding a parking spot..and finally we found one..but it was a lil over 10 ft pass the fire hydrant...we were really iffy if we should park there..but we were running late..so we jsut park there.

got there and went to our spot and john, susan, warren, and john were already there. the rest of the team  came afterward...so basically this day..was more like playing cards, eating, and watch vball lol. I got two bubble teas and got pork bun and stuff. haha now playing chinese poker was fun..but playing the viet version: big 2 was even more fun! we bet money haha ..it was like me, bong, john, jamie, and eric. ahah fun fun times.. played against ny freemason again and we won...we made it to the semifinal..but we lost.. oh wellz..

it was still a fun fun time! :) i believe teh boyz did a lot better today and good for you guyz...if you guyz just practice at least 5 times before SAN FRAN..u guyz will be ready :)

so after a long day..we left nyc.and jamie got a ticket...for parkint 9 ft away from fire hydrant..now..this is wrong because it was clearly over 9 ft...so jamie took madd pix and gonna argue with tthem haha. fell asleep for most of the car ride and was suddenly woke up b/c jamie told ray to wake up...apparently jamie gas was 12 miles away from going empty..and he made a random exit into NEWARK...like let me tell u..it is a scary place..ppl staring you down..i mean..wth..first time ever in newark..and jamie made a wrong turn in a one way street.

me: "jamie...this is a one way street."

Jamie: "i don't care..we need to get outta here as fast as we can"

me being naive and such..i didn't know Newark was this bad of an area..so we finally found a gas station..Hess. Jamie ask if i had money..so i gave him $10 nd here what happen ;

Ray: "hey jamie i have so money i left in the trunk"

Jamie: " no no ray don't get out...its oki "

apparently if we have gone out of the car..we would've regret it..then some old black guy...start cleaning our windshield and made small talks...then jamie turned around and ask for $1 so he could give it to the guy...haha iono but it was just really funny seeing jamie trying to get out as quickly out of newark...well that was teh highlight of my day haha

Hillsong United Concert & Hmong Volleyball Tourny in Michigan!

Hello everyone!!! :)

Man been a while since i updated ahha. Well anywayz...just got back this morning from Michigan ..but that whole week was pretty amazing :)

Tuesday 6/5...was the HILLSONG UNITED CONCERT in Ocean Grove!!! :) it was truly amazing! ^___^. I left with Michelle, Willard and Jen. We got lost for like 30 minutes but we got there at 6pm and Steve, Ray, Yvonne, and Karen were there saving spots for us in line. Saw Wayne tai, john choi, calvin, rica and many others! But the Concert was awesome...I never been to a concert where I Jumped sooo much and scream soo much in my life! It was a different feeling when I was there and It was AWESOME! I love Hillsong! their songs were amazing! :) But here are some pix for your entertaining.

so tuesday was a good day... hm..and then on Thursday i went to play vball again at south plainsfield middle school! practicing for the weekend HMONG VOLLEYBALL TOURNY IN MICHIGAN! :)

Friday: so woke up at like 6 am to head over to julie's and get ready and stuff...julie, nikki, and jannie went to IHOP to go eat breakfast...but more like dinner haha . went and picked up Dee in philly and Meena and Lancaster. We ddin't head out to Michigan until 1:30pm. Got to Michigan at like 10pm ish haha.. we stayed over at Dee's cousin Nou house. OMG the house was amazing and the family were amazing too :) Nou, her husband, and her three kids: Lasia, Brandon, and Bradley. So I didn't get to sleep till like 4am haha I was watching Dragon Tiger Gate (starring: Donnie Yen, Nicholas Tse, and Shawn Yue) with Bradon and his father.

Saturday: So woke up at like 7:30am and got ready to head out to the Park which was like 15 minute away..but we got there in 30 minutes haha . Nou's daughter, Lasia, also went with us. We went to register and omg...CULTURE SHOCK OR WHAT! I never even knew Hmong existed until last week and wow it was amazing! there were soo many hmong in one park.  There were : Football, Soccer, Volleyball and more tournaments sponsor by the Hmong Christian Church.It was crazy..and they were selling soo many foods, clothes, dvds, movies, music, etc! the vendors were crazy haha.  So we didn't even start playing till like 10-11am. There were 10 teams and 2 brackets. the top three team from each bracket advance to the playoff on Sunday morning. Thank God we made it to the playoff ahha . After we were finish it was already 6-7pm. Went back to Nou's house and shower, and got ready to go to RED ROBIN for Julie's bday dinner. The food was aiiite and the services was waaaaaay different than NJ haah the freckled lemonade wasn't as good as one here haha. But anywayz it was a good dinner :) After dinner, went back and was debating if i should go clubbing where all teh ppl at the park were gonna be at. But since there was no trance..i  didn't go and we all thought it was 21+ So stayed home and watched The Promise and Seven Sword with Brandon..but we were all soo tired that i fell asleep watching parts of it haha so i went to sleep at 2am.

Sunday: Got up at like 9am. nou made us breakfast and then we headed out to the park..so we played the first game and it was elimation game instead of round robin soo we lost that game and so we were out of the playoff..booo but the whole day we watched the men volleyball playoff and wow it was goood ahha. But the rules for hte volleyball tourny was a lot different so it was kinda hard to adjust..oh wellz..now we know.. went back at like 6 and took a shower and then head back to the park to eat mooore food..haha rainbow ice, curry noodle, and soo much more..the food omg soo amazing. after the tourny finished..we head back to the house..packed up and head home at 9:30pm. said goodbye to the family..it was a sad moment waaaa..they were such a good host and awesome ppl :)..thank you soooo much! :)

so headed home and i realized i forgot my dvd at their place..waaaaaa but nou gonna mail it to me :) thank  you!

Monday: finally at like 6am..we got back to PA and we saw Lasia stuff in our car..her purse, wallet, everything! we were like holllly shooot! ..But Dee gonna express back to her. then we said goodbye to Meena and head back to Philly and drop off Dee and said goodbye and then back to Cherry Hill and i was home! at 9am :) haha

amazing amazing week! love it love it :) God thank you soo much for a great week and weekend :)

Golf and Vball!

What an interesting summer already. 

Kiley and Sophia!!! They left this morning at 7am to Africa!! :( hope you guyz got there safe and enjoy the experience for 2.5 months! see you guyz in August! Will pray for you guyz every night :)

Today was a fun fun fun day!. I was actually productive haha. I went to RU chill with sisters and friends and then went to get 2 Thai Tea Ice Cream Shake bubble tea and then went straight to Fairway Golf and hand deliver the bubble tea to Willard! haha He told Sunny that I ...the almighty Sung Yang, was his bubble tea deliverer!! like sooo in ur dream boi! haha but it was funny haha. So hit around with Willard, Sunny, and Serena! these ppl together are one awesome crew haha they're sooo freakin loud and funny :) LOOOVE IT haha ..yes loud is awesome haha. Willard tried to teach me how to hit the ball ..finnnally after many buckets...i finally kinda..got the hang of it haha... at like 7:45pm we all ride with Sunny and went to South Plainsfield Middle School to play some VOLLEYBALL!! :) now that's the sport that I can play haha. This Volleyball league is pretty fun actually!

Saw the old crew/team/students haha ...it was good seeing you guyz! : Jeff Truong, Enoch, Steve, Dave, Roland, Dustin Su, Angina, Tim, etc! haha fun fun

there were 4 teams..so we played two games with each team! man...the gym..was HOT! no AC omg...but sweating is good ahha. But wow it's been a month since i played so it felt soo goood to finally be able to play! it was good teams so i was satisfied! My team: Jeff, Willard, Dustin, Steve, and Tim! you guyz were awesome!!! you guyz has gotten so much better! awesome awesome..this coach is sooo proud :P!!! Finished at around 10:30pm. Then we all went to Fusion for some bubble tea and chillaxing haha ...at around 11ish...head back to fairway golf and drove back to RU, picked up my two lil sisters, got some mcdonald and head all the way home to Cherry Hill. thank God i didn't fall asleep!! haha

but ..good times good times! ...let's do it again!!! :)
