Just got back from our 5'th tournament in 7 weeks! I think everyone in CA is now officially tired but relieved and happy that we're done. =P Looking back at all of them, Chat definitely stands out as one of the most fun. Among the many memories made with soo many awesome people are:

1. Developing a new form of back stretching. It's been *ahem* scientifically proven to stretch your back and spine and relax your
*cough* inner spirit.

2. Playing a 4 way 4-square right before awards..I think it ended up being 16-square For some reason, everyone had a vendetta to get me out. =P

3. We actually flagged down an ice-cream truck in our suits...ahh..such good fruits for our effort.

4. Being judged by those never-wavering staring mom-eyes...I felt like they pierced right through me. =P

5. Lip-syncing into the bop it..(no, I didn't actually sing out loud, what happens at Santa Rosa, stays there.)

Haha, thanks everyone for making this an awesome last-of-the-year CA tournament!

Random discovery...if I step on my dog's squeaker toy just right...it squeaks in 1/3 harmony.  OK...back to real life now.

Monday, February 12, 2007

Cost of Gas to get there: 25.35$
Laundering Suits beforehand: 13.37$
One Extra Flow-pad: 1.25$
Spending time with friends old and new: Priceless

Seattle is now over...and the old friendships that were renewed and the new friendships that were made were simply amazing! Among many awesome times are:

1. Trying to summarize all Country Music into one song with Jon Winslow and Eric Knopp while taking down rooms.
2. Sending random phone calls to Nait late at night and then getting random responses back..even if they were *ahem* on speaker phone. =P

3. Seeing old friends I haven't seen in years. I love you guys!

Finally, in light of my successes, to God Be the Glory! =)

Out of many awesome memories from round robins throughout the years, one of my best is the dinner at Carls Jr., and the carols before awards! That was so much fun.

Also, this is the first Christmas in which we are all together after one of us has been away at college. I'm so glad to have you home Rachel! I love you. =) This is an awesome Christmas time.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

It's the middle of November, and I'm listening to Christmas music....BECAUSE I CAN!

In other news, we finished our second round robin of the year on Saturday. As usual, Jeana and I had fun, even when we were debating in front of Dr. Michael Farris! Just kinda wierd...several days earlier, he judged Rachel in moot court, and now me in Policy debate.

And for the first time in my life, on Saturday, I was described as an old fart for still being in the league! *ahem* I can feel the love embracing me in NCFCA. Good job to all of us who formed an alliance aiming for 3'rd place and who all failed together. You guys Rock!
