Yes - I know - I'm lame.

For not posting in so long.  So much has happened in the last few weeks that I wish I could've written about, but I was bogged down in school and work.  I'll hit the highpoints:

--- I got Cashier Training at HEB, so when I come back from my eleven day vacation I'm going to start cashiering.  Woot!  Pay raise should come with the promotion too.

--- Julie came back for a week and that was cool.  Now she's off to East Asia again, so I don't get to see her for another long while...

--- My family is officially moving into our new house before the New Year (for tax reasons), so that should be fun...

--- I got my wisdom teeth out at ten thirty this morning, and I honestly feel pretty good right now.  Then again, the anesthetic hasn't worn off yet and I've just taken my first Vicodin, so things may get strange soon...  Who knows.

--- Tuesday I got to go to the Cavalry's basketball game.  It was pretty good for a while, and then Bracken came back and kind of crushed them...  Ah well, it was fun.

--- Christmas is in five days!  And I have a lot of presents yet to buy.

--- I love all of you.  Sorry I haven't been responding to my texts lately, I've been so freaking busy at work that I just haven't had time...  Feel free to text me now (although since I'm taking Vicodin who knows what'll happen), though, because I'm on an eleven day vacation from HEB.

Finally - Christ is amazing.  He really, really is.  Never forget how much he loves you.  I mean, sometimes when I'm feeling really depressed He just comes and smacks me in the face and gives me His message through friends, family, and crazy stuff.  Seriously.  The God we serve is an awesome man.

I love you all, I hope to see everyone soon.  Merry Christmas early!

LOVE,
~Thomas

All the world's a stage...

...made of shattered glass and broken hearts.

Rest in peace Casey Calvert (the lead singer of Hawthorne Heights).  You were a great singer and a great guy all around.

SAC Day - Was today.

Our story does not, however, start with today.  It starts with the day before today.  Yesterday.

Yesterday - I finally went to church for the first time in like a month.  I'd been just to tired from work the previous two times, and I'd been out of town one of the times.  It was good.  Dave started the Book of John, and I thought it was really, really good.  When I'm not doing my Judges study I think I'm going to read up on John so that I can be ready for next week's message.

Yesterday (after church) - This is when stuff really started going down.  I dragged my mangled feline friend from his lonesome desk, and made quick work of his wrappings.  As his bare fur, skin, fascia, muscle, and other material lay before me I felt like some sort of insane doctor; preparing my victim for an unethical operation.  Despite feelings of unease I began my arduous task of tagging the remaining thirty or so muscles (most of them on his forelimb).  After half an hour of head-scratching, nose-rubbing, chin-stroking, and finger-popping I was relieved from my duty by the one and only Miss Jennifer Cote.

Yesterday (after church but before evening) - Myself, Miss J., my sister, and my brother traveled to the Starbucks at 281 and 46, and grabbed some coffees.  Then we came back and decorated the house for Christmas.  At three fifty on that cold afternoon my sister departed for College Station, and I talked to Jenn.  For like two hours.  It was good.

Yesterday (after church but right around evening) - Jenn left, and I was left with the task of actually doing my school.  I also had Touchstone's "All the World's a Stage" speech from Shakespeare's As You Like It to memorize, so the next five hours passed with me wrist-deep in dead-but-preserved cat flesh while repeating Shakespearean quotations.  Mmmm...

Today (early; really early) - At about two 'o clock in the morning today I finally went to my room to sleep.  Or so I thought.  In all actuality I could not fall asleep.  No matter how hard I tried.  It wasn't until four thirty in the morning that I finally fell asleep.

Today (early; really early; but not really, really early) - My alarm went off at seven, and I got up and started memorizing the final bits of "All the World's a Stage".

Today (at SAC Day) - Shakespeare came, and my speech was spit from my lips with a passion that could only be described as "almost non-existent".  Still, I think I did fairly well - I didn't leave any parts out, I just had to pause for a bit in some of the parts.  Then Anatomy and Physiology was epic - I finished tagging the feline muscles I should've tagged yesterday, and then I chatted it up with Skylar and Luke.  Mrs. Johnston wasn't there, so Mrs. Rath was giving the oral exams over the cat muscles, but I was last in line so I didn't have to worry.  Marine Biology was fun - Mrs. Johnston showed up; I got some pictures; experiment six point one was fun; it was all-in-all very relaxing and nice.  Then Theatre Production was good because I got to talk to Halye a bit.  That girl is pretty cool.

That concludes my almost-epic tale.

Hope you enjoyed it.

It's Been A While...

...since I updated.

Sorry.

Yeah, basically the reason I haven't updated in an age and a half is because of my tremendous work schedule.  Last week I worked like a madman.  Last Friday I worked from ten to ten, and at HEB that is nuts.  Seriously, I was so dead after I did it...  Yeah.

It's kind of bad because I'm getting way behind in my school.  Way behind.  Tomorrow is my designated do-school-all-day-or-face-the-wrath-of-my-mom day.  I like to call it my death day.  'Cause I basically die...

Hmmm...

I saw the Bourne Ultimatum a couple days ago.  It was awesome.  Seriously, it was way awesome...

Yeah...

Oh, my family (including Julie, woot) went to Houston from Wednesday to Friday.  Not a very long trip, but last night I was up way late with my cousin and we were having way to much fun.  Talking about crazy stuff and remembering the crazy stunts we'd pulled a couple of summers ago...  Seriously, three summers ago was a crazy, crazy time.  It was awesome...

Hmmm...  That's all I've got right now...

Sorry for not being faithful to my xanga.

Love and all that stuff,

~Thomas

This Broken Place That I Call My Home...

...is deep in the sorrow that I have sewn...

Augh...  I've been really busy lately.  Working every day, doing two weeks worth of schoolwork per week, and other random stuff takes up time like crazy...

Mmmm...  In other more exciting less whiny news:

I got a new phone.

I hacked my iPod.

My family may be buying a house soon.

And I'm trying to get every Bleach episode on my iPod.

Oh, and I saw The Night Before Christmas...  It's so good.

Yeah.  My phone is a LG Rumor for Sprint.  It's awesome.  Which means, if you ever want to text me I'm available.  Always.  Like seriously, text me...  My number is [210]385-0383.  Anyone can text me, just leave your name if I don't know your number...

About hacking my iPod - I got it to dual boot, which means I can use the regular iPod firmware, or I can load another firmware package.  The other package allows me to play Doom on my iPod...  It's awesome.

The house - we're looking at a house a mile away from the one we're in now, and one over in Centex Homes that backs up against Timberwood Park.

And yeah, the Nightmare Before Christmas was amazing.  Sooo good.

That be all for now.  I'll try to be more faithful about responding to comments than I was last entry.

Love you all muchly.

Storm the Gates of Hell by Demon Hunter is an awesome album...

And I like Peppermint Mocha's from Starbuck's...

Hehe...

Um...  Yeah...  Chinese characters look awesome.  Oh, and before I get to far in to my entry - thanks everyone for all the comments.  Woot.

Anyways.  Life.  It's alive.  And whatnot.

Thursday I worked and did school.  Mom and John went to Houston to have a garage sale at my Grandmother's house (which we're selling).  Friday - same stunt.  Did school and work and slept.  Yay.

Saturday was the exciting day.  Dad and I got our lazy bottoms up early and dragged some old junk to the Bulverde City Big Trash Day thing...  'Got rid of some random stuff that we didn't need anymore.  Lawnmower, scrap metal, vials full of dangerous acid, small bombs, AK-47s - the usual stuff.

Then we headed to Houston to help get rid of the rest of the stuff at my Granny's house.  On the way we talked about meaningless small-talk like epistemology, Catholicism, the extent of demonic power, etc.  Seriously, it was awesome.  Then we made it to Houston, went and picked up the U-Haul trailer we needed to take some stuff back to Bulverde with us, and then dragged a bunch of stuff to the dump.  It smelled awful there.  Ugh.  It smelled like Josh after a long day of playing Halo (seriously, that game makes him sweat, and by the end of the day he stinks something awful).

Then we went home.  Yay.  I drove in Houston, though.  That was interesting.  The traffic there really sucks...  Anyways, I said that it was exciting, but it was actually really boring.  Yeah.

Kay.  Now the important subject.  I need to dye my hair back to bright black, and I want to do it myself, but I'm really nervous because I'm afraid I'll miss a spot and then it'll look terrible.  I also don't want to leave atramentous spots all over my bathroom...  Hmmm...

Oh, and for some reason my hair is falling out.  Every time I shower I lose like a drain-full of hair.  In a few weeks I'll probably end up looking like this:

Not cool.

Ok, later everyone.

Love you all.
