Here's a composite image I made up of Aria painted onto an artist's pallette. The animated image at the top is created using only the two pics above. The paint and effects are made in Photoshop. The image of Aria is applied to the palette using a displacement map which distorts her face to fit the contours of the palette for more detailed info check out my website at www.herschelmair.com.
Here's the final image with some mood lighting added and a wooden background.

Before: A very tired old lady with black metal racks screwed to her head and black plastic rearview mirrors.... horror!!!

After. rejuvinated against a faded version of the old background. I got the hubcaps off the net.

With restoration to the original colour and dropped into a more pleasnt environment. The angles don't quite match... but it was only a fun project...
