Help me...

(My subscriptions reminded me I had one of these things. I've been in a creatively depressing mood lately, so here's a poem for it.)

Blood shot eyes and a tear stained sheet,
Sullen faces and a draped window.
Why must life, seeming such a miracle,
Play the devil when throughs meet?

Given roses and coffee spills,
Loving poems and passionate nights.
Was it all for not, do they mean nothing?
Why doesn't it make you feel?

Pleadingly, I reach for you, fingertips grazing,
And you reach back, only to pull away again.
Is this a sick game for you? Do you enjoy it?
Seeing me like this, my emotions glazing?

Do I mean anything to you?
Do you know what you mean to me?
Why don't you tell me as I tell you?
What do you expect me to do?

So I'll whisper this one request to you,
So I may learn what it is I should do...
Tell me...
Help me...

Himo Falkoen Estrinal, King of Goldendale and Bahumus Isle and Dragon Demi-God (a bit much?)

Just an explination of my screen name. Himo is the name of my first Dungeons and Dragons character. At the time, my brother was new to dungeon mastering the game, so I ended up getting a superly over-power character. Himo is that guy. He ended up being a dragon demi-god, controlled two kingdoms (through good ways), got a demi-plain (small plain of existance) and turned it into a regular plain much like our own (going on for infinity -In theory-), acted as a god for a while, and made sworn enemies with 2 gods and rivals with 2 others, one of which was his brother. As a result of this, he got a little cocky, so he acted as if everything he did was right or good. Though most of it was, a bit of it only got him into more trouble.

As we continued playing (like he could find a challenge), my brother began to hate Himo. He tried everything to kill him, or even phase him. He sent 10 great wyrm red dragons at him (strongest evil dragon w/o being godly), had his Arch-mage mess with him for a while (rival god is disguise), tried sending Tiamat (Goddess and Mother to all evil dragons), had his father Bahamut (God and Father to all good dragons) 'ground' him, and tried flat out sending him into nothingness ('Where the hell am I?'). They all failed. As cocky as he is, he's still pretty crafty.

On a side note, I know this is a bit much for one character, but my brother was new, as was I, so I just went along with it. We ended up having a bit of fun, and we just laugh at in now that we play properly. Also, sorry to all people who don't play DnD, I know it's a bit confusing.

 So basicly put... well, I'll make an analogy. Himo is to you, as Sephiroth is to civillians. It's just insane. Anyway, I hope I got a few laughs out of this.
