Well I just got back from War of the Worlds with Jake and it was a lot better than expected. [I might have cried once but that's just between you and me...]
The past few days have been pretty enjoyable. I didn't go out for the 4th but Jake's family came over & my entire family was here and it was pretty fun. It was everyone that I love all in one room. =)
   
I just looked in the mirror and whoa. My hair is P00F. I went swimming at Jake's house this morning & well... When wet, my hair tends to uhm, 'fro' out a tid bit. Think Beyonce in Austin Powers. Yeah. Scary.
Anyway. This summer's going by way too fast. It almost half over, and there are so many people I have yet to hang out with or even talk to. I have no idea where the time's going but it better slow the hell down!
Oh, and guess what my new hobby is? Golf. Go figure. I've watched Caddyshack too many times, perhaps? Jake finally taught me how to actually hit the ball when I swing, but not before I fell on my ass at least 423 times. Yep. I'm a klutz.
   
Wow. This is way too long! And I haven't even mentioned going to Kansas City yet! Well I'm going to tell you. It just can't wait. =)
SO. Last weekend we went to a Jesse McCartney concert due to my sister's obsession. The concert took at least 8 hours [ 10 acts performed besides him ] in 95 degree weather. When I wasn't making fun of the "artists" on stage. I wanted to shoot myself. It was aweful. The highlight of that trip was shopping and making fun of the Pussycat Dolls. =) & I finally got the wedges I wanted! YUSS.

White water rafting down the Arkansas kicked major ass && the sexy U.S Rafting Team wasn't too bad either...I fell in on top of McKenzie, who was quite pissed to say the least. Oh, and Colorado men are complete perverts. Perhaps the boy to girl ratio had something to do with it, but Kenny && I got hit on at least 7 times in one night at some biker bar filled with completely wasted 28 year olds. Ewwww. Sigh. We were quite upset with her mother for bringing us there in the first place, but OHWELL. I also couldn't help noticing that the entire time I was down there I felt completely out of place. Those athletic Coloradoans were nothing but shorts and T-shirts, which doesn't exactly work for me but once again, OHWELL. I missed Jake bunches && bunches while I was gone, but all in all- Colorado was awesome. Anywayz.
&& I also got around to my darling McKenzie's house last night and had a fantastic evening. With a last minute change of plans, we decided to not go out, but to instead enjoy a fun evening of dancing around her bedroom to random 70's music, and watching trashy teen movies. =) It was a good time. Jake and Walther came over for a bit as well which didn't turn out exactly as planned, but still fun.
