| It's exam week now...I'm becoming impatient for break to start. Today I had two exams. I have two more tomorrow and a paper to turn in Thursday morning and then I'm going home! Yay! I'm going to miss Foundations of Education and Statistics. It's OK though, because I have Philosophy during J-term with Jacob, Stephanie, and possibly Robert too! It's exciting. Last night we had a Christmas Party at the PSU. It was pretty fun. I made a funny looking penguin ornament...haha. Last week I went to see the Nativity Story with a friend's small group then we went to Wal-Mart to get snacks. She came back and stayed in my room and we watched Fox and the Hound and after woke up we had lunch and watched Pride and Prejudice. It was a lot of fun. It was nice to have a nice weekend between finals week and a crazy busy week full of projects. It's been a fun semester, but I'm looking forward to break and J-term. | | |
| Ok, I am just noticing how bad I am at updating lately. Sorry. I am having a lot of fun here at MVNU. I had break last Wednesdsay and I got to come home for church... It was a fun break. The weekend before I was able to go back for the quiz. It was weird going and not quizzing. I helped George by being his content judge in room 1 for half of the day and I spent the other half watching my team.
Friday I was able to go back to McKinley! I visited Mrs. Bibbee, Mrs. Lawson, Mrs. Bissmeyer, Emily....and Mr. Rife! (Of course!) I was really excited! I was able to talk with him for a little while. It was great. Mrs. Lawson came in to ask him a question while I was in there and she laughed and he said "Yeah, the bad ones always come back." She then teased me and said I would be back to take his place some day. It was nice to talk to him and tell him about college and get advice.
Tonight I went to the JV basketball game with Jenny, Stephanie and Nathan. (Yes, I went to a basketball game...and I went to two of Nathan's intramural sand volleyball games...more sports events in a month than all of high school!) We stayed for half of it and then we went to Jenny's room for a little bit. After that Nathan helped me with my printer and he visited our room. We grabbed Lord of the Beans and went and watched it in someone's room with a bunch of other people. It was a fun time.
Nathan and one of the Oakwood RA's...ya..they're pretty close. lol.jk.
