wow it's been along time....

where to start? well today has been the longest hardest day of my life! to day was Carson's funereal... for thos who dont know about Carson, He was one of my best friends little brothers only 1 1/2. late Thursday after noon he some how got out of his house and fell into his pool he mom was confronting a family member when he got out. their dog Daucie came into the house (which she NEVER does) so K.C. knew something was wrong. she start to search for him and found him floating in the pool. by that time he had been under water for about 5 mins and was now floating face up in the green pool. K.C. pulled him out and he started throwing up (a good sign) she started yelling b/c she had forgotten how to perform CPR a random jogger heard her screaming and came to their back yard. K.C. says she had never seen this man before and he performed CPR till the paramedics got there he was rushed to the hospital and he was put on a breathing tube. he was then transported by helicopter to the Children's Hospital in Birmingham here he made it through one night and also tried to breath on his own, they also did 7 test on his brain only 2 came back good (he had some swelling on the top of his brain). some time Saturday his temp. shot up to 107, his poor little body couldn't handle it so they had to put him on life support. The White Family decide to stop the life support.

so as you can tell Carson's death has been very hard and emotional. i cant tell you how many tears have been shed.... my heart goes out to the White family as well as my prayers!

In Loving Memory of Joseph Carson Jarvis White July 1, 2004- April 1, 2006

What the Obituary said: WHITE, Joseph "Carson" Jarvis, 21 months old. Carson, son of Grayson and K.C. White and baby brother of Laura Grayson and Griffin, went home to be with Jesus Saturday, April 1, 2006. Other survivors include grandparents Jimmy and Laurie Armstrong, Jim and Leah Taylor, Joe and Jill White, great grandparents Bill and Eulala White, and Sarah Taylor. From the parents: Our sweet boy is home with our sweet Father. His precious body was able to be used to save a grandmother in NJ and for that we are grateful. Praise be to God! He is the Author and Giver of life, and in His sovereignty He chose to take Carson to be with Him. We do not have to know why, except that God is glorified through this and His church is strengthened. Our God is an AWESOME God!!! Please read: Job 42:2-6, Phil. 4:13, Romans 8:18-39, and Eph. 3:14-21. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home. A Celebration of Carson's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at Eastwood Presbyterian Church, 1701 East Trinity Blvd. In addition to thanking the many caring friends, neighbors, paramedics, Jackson ER Staff, and Life Flite, the family would like to thank the entire staff of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of Children's Hospital for their compassionate and tender care for Carson and his entire family. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the Carson White Scholarship Fund c/o Eastwood Presbyterian Church, 1701 East Trinity Blvd., Montgomery, AL 36106. Hey guys! it's been a long time, i know! but i found a few quotes that i really liked so here they are!!

"Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than going to the garage makes you a car."–Laurence J. Peter

God's answers are wiser than our prayers.–Unknown

The right manner of growth is to grow less in one's own eyes. —Thomas Watson

A truly humble man is sensible of his natural distance from God; of his dependence on Him; of the insufficiency of his own power and wisdom; and that it is by God's power that he is upheld and providedfor, and that he needs God's wisdom to lead and guide him, and His might to enable him to do what he ought to do for Him. —Jonathan Edwards

[Believers] have joy and comfort—that joy that angels cannot give, and devils cannot take. —Christopher Fowler

Foolish talking and jesting are not the ways in which Christian cheerfulness should express itself, but rather "giving of thanks" (Eph. 5:4). Religion is the source of joy and gladness, but its joy is expressed in a religious way, in thanksgiving and praise. —Charles Hodge

The more we enjoy of God, the more we are ravished with delight. —Thomas Watson

God will not be behind-hand in love to us: for our drop, we shall receive an ocean. —Thomas Watson

God's wounds cure, sin's kisses kill. —William Gurnall

Let thy hope of heaven master thy fear of death. Why shouldst thou be afraid to die, who hopest to live by dying! —William Gurnall
