FALL OUT BOY concert was stinkin awesome. EXCEPT for getting stepped on countless times and the fact that i was wearin flip flops in the front mosh pit and almost losing it 2-3 times. it was so sweaty and smelled like dirt. there were people's hair in my face. favorite t-shirt i saw said, "Panic! Be My Bitch". shortness kills. couldn't see anything altho i was like a meter away from the band coz everybody else was so tall. people pushing and shoving and elbowing suck! STILL worth it. glad i made it out with all my toes intact. a definite high singin' "There's a drug in the thermostat to warm the room up And there's another around to help us bend your trust I've got a sunset in my veins And I need to take a pill to make this town feel okay" - definitely applies to Melbourne From Sophomore Slump or Comeback of the Year. they didn't sing one of my fav songs tho but it's ok coz seeing Pete Wentz go into the crowd and people reaching up to him was amazing. i like this song from their new album "Golden" How cruel is the golden rule? When the lives we lived are only golden-plated And I knew that the lights of the city were too heavy for me Though I carried karats for everyone to see
And I saw God cry in the reflection of my enemies And all the lovers with no time for me And all of the mothers raise their babies To stay away from me
Tongues on the sockets of electric dreams Where the sewage of youth drowned the spark of my teens And I knew that the lights of the city were too heavy for me (too heavy for me) Though I carried karats for everyone to see (everyone to see)
And I saw God cry in the reflection of my enemies And all the lovers with no time for me And all of the mothers raise their babies To stay away from me
And pray they don't grow up to be... ok NEXT . | | |
