Ok, I got this comment on my last entry saying basically that the American Saddlebred horse isn't mean to do anything but Saddleseat, and you know what? That pisses me off. If the Saddlebred isn't meant to do other disciplines, then please, tell me why the American Saddlebred SPORTHORSE Association was set up? And why is the monthly ASB publication always showing ASBs doing other disciplines, like JUMPING and DRESSAGE and COMPETITIVE TRAIL RIDING?? And why are the ASB shows adding in HUNTER UNDER SADDLE classes?? It is people like the person that made that comment that really tick me off. Yes, Saddlebreds are good at Saddleseat, but why should we be so against them branching out into other disciplines? And what about the ASBs that don't have the "movement" for Saddleseat, like my old horse Rat? I he just meant to stand in a pasture and rot since he isn't "animated" enough? No....he now KICKS ASS in the hunter show circuit! Oh, and another thing.....if the Saddlebred is such a sucky horse at anything besides Saddleseat, then why are they such a popular cross to make warmbloods, like the Georgian Grande? Saddlebred_Freak.....before you make more comments like the one you made, go do your research. They CAN do other disciplines, and they ROCK in them!

Ok....enough of my little rant, maybe I should update you guys since it's been.....MONTHS! I got a new job, I am now trying my hand at waitressing. This is my first week, and it is a bit scary, but cool too! Hopefully I will rake in some dough!

On the guy front....yeah, I am still single, and I am OK with it....for now. I want a boyfriend, but I am trying to tell myself that God has a plan for me, and this is part of it, and when that guy I am meant to date comes along....I'll know. So yeah....

The girls (and Teddy) are good, and we have 2 new members of the family! Savannah had a sorrel colt with a white blaze and 2 white socks born May 3, we named him Riesling, or Reese. Lily had her foal May 4, an APPY!!!!! Hahaha...must be from the daddy! He is a bay with a white sock and a white blanket on his butt.....so freakin adorable!!!! There were a LOT of complications with that one, but all is well now, and Pyrotechnics, aka Nicky, is a real ham. I like him. =)

Allright, update!

Things are going allright. Actually, who am I kidding, they STINK. Work is a bunch of crap right now....I got chewed out the other day by the morning shift supervisor because things weren't perfect when she opened, and she complained to the manager and he and the owner sat down and basically told me that I am not working up to my potential and that I need to do better or I'm going to be written up. WTF???? I am doing the best I can! And it is just a bunch of crap like that that's going on. I can't wait to get out of CFA!!!!

On the guy side....thngs are still a mess. I hung out with him yesterday and had a good time, and I think he likes me, but I know that he is still interested in that other girl too. I just don't know. I really really really like him, and I am trying to let him know that....it is all so complicated.

I went shopping today and bought a bunch of new jeans and stuff. That was fun. I spent way too much money....but oh well. I decided to pamper myself for once.

The girls (and Teddy) are good. Teddy and Sweetie are up for sale officially, and we are trying to find someone to free lease Glory, my first horse, out to. She is really unhappy in retirement, so we are looking for someone to take care of and lightly ride her. Hopefully we'll find someone for her.

Things on the guy side are really getting to me right now. The guy that I was gushing about....yeah, I don't know. Maybe it is just my insecurity issues popping up, I don't know. I found out that he is interested in this other girl though, and that kinda got to me. I don't want to just casually date, you know? And basically that is what he wants to do. I was all set to just tell him to forget it and stuff, and then he asked me to go to his church Sunday evening and said he'd pick me up, and me being the pushover that I am I agreed to go. ARGH! I just really like him a lot, and I don't know what to do!!!!! Is he worth all this crap?

LOL, I didn't think anyone actually read this thing, but I guess Kacie does, and since she is BEGGING me to update, here goes:

On the work side, things SUCK. I am working 2 jobs and between the 2 I feel like I have no time for me. The barn job isn't too bad, I can deal with that I guess. But CFA......ARRGH!!!! I feel like....like....I am underappreciated. It is cool getting to totally run the night shift, but I feel like some of my workers don't respect me.....especially now with what is going on between me and someone else. I think that is getting some of the workers kinda resentful. I just don't know. I really need a new job that pays enough for me to quit both my current jobs.

My mom passed her real estate test the other day, and because of a deal I made with her that means that I have got to enroll in real estate school. Which won't be so bad.....$500 for the class, $100 to take the real estate test. It's cheaper than college, and hey, here in good old Hendo real estate is a big thing. Maybe I'll make a go of it and be well enough off to drive a Beamer like my neighbor!

On the horse side.....things are allright. Our girls are getting close to their due dates....they are due in April and May, and they are getting so BIG and CUTE!!!!! LOL. And we weaned the babies, they are both doing good. Annie is allright too, I rode her yesterday and she was SPUNKY....tried to buck me off!!! But she was pretty good. I really need to spend more time training her....especially now that show season is here....I don't even know if we'll hit any shows this year. I wanted to go to World really bad....but we'll see....

On the boy side......hehehehe. I really like him a LOT, every time I see him I like him even more you guys. He is so cute, so sweet, so funny, and he makes me feel so special. Especially when he looks at me.....OMG......I am just so happy right now. I have another date with him on Saturday, I can't wait. I hope it goes well. I really like this guy a LOT.

Wow, I guess I REALLY need to update this more often! Life is GROOVY ya'll.....God is amazing, I am so happy right now. CFA is going well, I am now working evenings and I get to be in charge....woot! I love it. I am still looking for a new job though. I am also still working at Deanna's, that is OK. And Annie is as wonderful as ever, I haven't had much time to ride but in 16 days we have a clinic with an ARHA World Champion to learn how to rope, work cows, and show better conformation. It's gonna be a BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!

And on the boy side.....oh yes. Things are great. I went out with this AWESOME guy last Friday, and it was great. We went and got dinner at an Italian restraunt, then got milkshakes at Piggy's and went and saw the Pink Panther. And then we went to this Latino dance, and that was like the best part of the evening! I didn't know how to dance, so I was sorta freaked at first, but then he taught me and it was SO MUCH FUN! And he was so awesome.....yeah.....and he is so hott too! And he is just a really great guy all around. I really like him a lot....and I really hope he likes me too. I was supposed to go to this thing at his church last night, but I had to cancel because of a family emergency, and I hope he understood. But OMG....yeah.....I am in lala land....
