| - How To Save A Life
Ok, so I know it's the "cool" thing to quit xanga these days. But I happen to still have a thing for it. I still enojy a good vent, or a good post, and update every now and then. I mean I've had this thing almost 1000 days, which in reality is about 3 years. My xanga has been a journal since 9th grade, and I want to keep it until the end of my senior year as well. I just want this to be able to look at the changes I've gone through, the relationships I've been in, and the hardships I've gotten over. High school changes who you are and makes you who you become (my opinion). So I want to be able to look back at who I became and have no regrets.
So where to start?

So my relationship? It's wonderful. Next month will be 5 months. :) And I couldn't ask for a better guy than my Jacob Andrew. He means everything to me, and being in his arms is one of the best things. We've been hanging out a ton this summer, which has been so awesome! We've been to the pool, movies, bowling, Six Flags, and over to each other's houses. So it's been a blast. I love him
Also this summer I was "officially" employed at my dad's office. He has his own car dealership off Barrett Parkway and I work as a part-time receptionist. I've been able to work alot and get in alot of good hours. So needless to say, I've saved some... but went shopping with a whole lot more! Not to mention with some of the money I want to get a digital camera before school starts. It'll be my first, so I'm excited.
So the dreaded subject of school. Yes, I brought it up. And oddly enough, I'm excited about it. I can't wait to wear all the cute stuff I've bought, I can't wait for the football games, I can't wait for the dances, and I can't wait for the fun. Speaking of which I have to take the SAT again. Well, when I say have to... I want to. I want to get into GC&SU. I've been thinking about that school for a few weeks now and I would love to go there. But my parents have a problem with me moving out. I guess they'll miss me?
As for the MOAMADCTC, it's been great! (meet once a month and do crazy things club). We have the slumber parties every month and it's been going since last Halloween. So in October it'll be our 1 year anniversary. I love those girls so much.
Trips? Vacations? Yes, I went on one. Leela invited us girls up to her lake house for the 4th of July weekend. Kat and I were the only ones who could make it, but it was still great! Fireworks, movies, laying out, swimming, jet skis, water skiing, oh and FOOOOD! I do have an album for it on my facebook.
So the summer has been good to me. I got to hang out the all the Sprayberry kids alot. They're all so funny, and it's a blast just to hang out with them. I can't name them all because most likly I would forget one, but they know who they are. Oh! And every Thursday night of summer a bunch of us went bowling. So that has been so much fun! I'll miss it so much, I only think we have 2 more left until school starts. And that makes me sad. Although there have been sooo many memories to go back to and laugh at. And the pictures to prove it.
I think this is enough for now. I'll prolly update a little bit more from now on.

| Ok so time for another random and crazy update
So first off on the 12th of this month Jacob Andrew and I celebrated our 2 months! And Kat and Ryan celebrated their 8 months. We all hung out at Colleens for the Spoons Party, and it was needless to say alot of fun! I got to meet some crazy new people and hang out with people I hadn't seen in a while. So it was all together, a wonderful night. Afterwards I slept over at Kat's house. But just so you guys know, he's my everything, and I love him with all that I have.
Also I have worked the past 3 or 4 Saturdays. So the paychecks I get each week are certainly lovely! I like working at my dad's office, and I know everyone is like hah that's not a real job. Well you know what, I dont care! I'm expected to be there at a certain time, and I'm paid. So hah! It's a job.
Any way, last weekend Kat, Me, Colleen, Ryan, and Jacob all went to go see Over the Hedge, which was a great movie by the way. It was so funny, and not to mention there was a possum named Heather... annnnnnd her voice was Avril Lavigne. So yeah, that was amazing. After that Colleen left to see another moive and the 4 of us had a photo shoot in the parking lot of the theater. Haha, so of course I have to add pictures from that!
Ok so after the pictures Kat and I went back to her house and Leela came over and we all slept there. We stayed up just talking, which is one of my favorite things. Kat is so amazing and I dont know how to explain it, she just understands me, and we have a goof time talking, cause we can be so honest and upfront with each other. Theres very few people I can do that with. So I'm glad to say one of them is her.
Oh, and this weekend! Pretty much Friday we're (Me, Kat, Emily D. Hannah D. and Leela) are all going to go see Frequence play at Swayzes. There are also 2 other good bands going, The Carry-Ons, and Slack. After that all fo us, and Emily and Cody are going to come back here for a massive end of the year slumber party! I'm beyond excited! Tons of food, movies, and girl talk! Oh boy!
School is almost out! And its the end of my Junior year, so I'm excited to only have one more year left. I honestly, can't stand it there anymore. So I'm hoping it'll get better next year. Any way, the Trig final was a beast to say the least. And RISE was the saddest thing ever. They made me cry so much, and I can't say how much I'll miss them. They were all so wonderful. So tomorrow I have a Chamistry final and thats it. I'm not worried about it though, it shouldn't be any trouble.
As for the summer, I can only wait to see what it has to bring....

| hmmm... update time
well....
we got our yearbooks on Friday, and pretty much did nothing while attending school that WHOLE day. But regardless, it is a nice book. And I liked the picutres I was in, so thats always a good thing too.
Well I've been sick for about a week, so Friday I stayed home. And then Saturday night Leela had a bunch of us out to dinner at Macarroni Grill, which was a lot of fun by the way. Afterwards we went back to her house for CAKE! And let me tell you.... this thing was MAHOOSIVE! (massively huge as one word). We also watched "Just Friends" and it was hilarious. After that everyone left except me, leela, kat, and emily. We all spent the night signing yearbooks, talking, and laughing.
Today (Sunday) I was supposed to hang out with Jacob, but sadly I'm still sick. So I'm sick, and I didn't get to see him. What a great day..... except not. I miss and love him alot, and can't wait to jump on him when I see him next. <3

| Ok, so I was just sitting here doing my homework and kinda feeling streesed out that I realized somethings. And I decided maybe I needed to write them down and share them.
Firstly, I have Trig 3rd Period and I always try to do my homework in order. And when I tried to do it, I found myself becoming quite frustrated. So I moved onto my next class, 4th Period Honors U.S. So of course I finished up my project that I've been working on. Then I went on to my Chemistry homework. And for an unknown reason I just understand that class without effort. Its almost a reflex now. I get good grades in there and never have a problem doing my hoemwork every night. I voluntarilly answer questions everyday, and do problems on the board. I also help others around me that need help. And I'm always glad to help.
So the point of all this?
Well I was thinking to myself that I wish Trig was easy like Chemistry. I wish I always got good grades and understood my homework. I wish I didn't have to try so hard at it to only be barely making a B. I wish I didnt have to ask for help everyday. And I wish I did good on tests and didn't make stupid mistakes that I always seem to. I've made 2 B's so far on tests, and the rest are lower. I hate how it makes me feel bad, and makes me feel stupid. I wish I didn't have to struggle so much to barely slip by in that class.
But that's just it.
This was the part where the lightbulb went off in my head.
It's the struggles and the troubles in our lives and how we deal with them that make us who were are.
It's the fact that I'm struggling and trying so hard to succeed in something that doesn't come naturally to me. I try my homeowrk every night, and I try my best on tests. I come in early for review sessions, and I even have a wonderful friend that tutors me. I ask questions in class and make corrections on past tests and quizzes. So there you have it.
I'm trying, and doing everything I possibly can
And that alone sets me aprat from ALOT of people.
So I suck at Trig.... it doesn't make me a bad person. And it doens't make me stupid. | | |
| Otay time for another atempt at an update.
Firstly, if anything is mistyped on here I don't care and I'm not fixing it. lol, I hurt my wrist and I'm already doing this 1 handed.
Ok, so on the 12th Jacob and I celebrated a whole month together. And it was so cute, he got me a Curiuos George shirt, and I had gotten him the Curious George Soundtrack, and of course I colored him pictures too. He's pretty much amazing, and even went to my softball game! Oh, how I love my Jacob Andrew.
School is ok, I just gotta keep working enough to keep my grades the way they are, or maybe raise them a little. Not to mention i dont get to go to RISE this whole week because of the CRCT testing. Yeah, thats lame and makes me sad. Cause after the weekends I already miss them.
Oh yeah, on Tuesday at 10:00 I'm donating blood. I mean, I obviously weigh enough and needles dont bother me in the least bit. So why not? And knowing my blood type would be kinda cool too.
This weekend was fun! Emily and I went the the HHS/KMHS lacrosse game. And of course HHS won, and while we were there Simone came and sat with us. Then after that we hung out with Kyle and his parents and we went to Beef O'Bradys. It was fun and we shared some laughs and a new game. :). Then Saturday Emily and Kat came over to spend the night and sadly Emily couldn't stay. But we did stall a long time. lol. So for the rest of the night Kat and I watched Madagascar and then fell asleep.
And yeah, for the next like 2 weekends I have at least something to do now. This Friday I'm going to see Ryan's show, and then going to his house to watch movies with lots of people. Afterwards I'll prolly crash at Kat's house. lol. So needless to say I'm excited about that. As for the the weekend after that Kat and I are joining Ryan and Jacob at their band banquet, which should certainly be fun too!
