i'm not sure if i could have designed a better weekend for myself than what played out...

friday night, the gospel choir concert was splended, as always. after, i learned the basics of skateboarding and played a pickup game of soccer :)

saturday, zoe, miranda and i decided to "carpe diem"-it, and we ran to the arboritum, to bc from there, and back to bu. who knew our seizing the day would have covered 13 1/2 miles of boston!! running an impromptu half marathon is not something i thought i would ever do...until now.

sunday - after church and lunch, a couple from the church picked us bu students up and took us to see expelled - it was a well thought out documentary, and really made me question the scientific community.  that night, i played the largest game of caputre the flag with buiv athlete chapter and multi-ethnic chapter.  its sweet being a part of both groups.

finally, monday. marathon monday. a ton of us from iv volunteered at mile 24 together, and wow - i am seriously going to be training to run the marathon next year. i cannot wait - dave, miranda and i are running for sure, and a few others are on the brink of deciding.

haha, i woke up monday after just having dremt about being asked to join the bu track team - HAHA. apparently i still have desires to be a hurdler. well, for now, being content with more rehab will suffice for my lack of shoulder movement, but i'd like to make myself realize that although i can't tackle or swim, i CAN still do a crapload of athletic stuff!!

tomorrow i get to give a speech in my oral presentation course about "something new" we did over the weekend...i am chosing to write about how i was stood up by my residents when we were going to watch the pats game. no wonder they lost...

seriously though, this better be a sweet speech. after all, i didn't get stood up for nothing!

you know it's decently bad weather when church is canceled - this is only the 2nd time in my life such a thing has happened!

2 more finals, 2 more papers, then i'm done for the semester!

surgery on friday...i can't wait to have my shoulder and arm immobilized for a month - that's just my cup of tea...

after a weekend of 'crisis after crisis,' and everything is miraculously solved, i am relaxed after my 6:30am start to my day.

i love life. i love the opportunities thrown at me. i've grabbed a bunch of them. now, it's only a matter of sorting them out, scheduling my life, and leaving a chance to live...friday night perhaps?

when is busy too busy? when is too busy a problem? how do you recognize this? how do you get out of it?
