Will Power.

Will - desire, want. Direction in which the flow is downhill.

Power - I'm not sure. Guesses:
-Volume of flow under your control. I suppose that is the energy you have power over.
-Ability to go against the flow

Ah I think I have it.

Happiness is feeling a fast flow.
Will is the direction you perceive as downhill, and thus the direction that you believe will cause you to move fastest when travelled.

Hate is resistance to flow.
Resistance to the movement of energy.
Why would you resist the movement of energy?
If you believe a lack of resistance would take you in a direction
that you do not want to travel in
Hate is stiffness, flexing, tense, afraid.

Power is your ability to move independent of flow.
Power is unnatural, non-oraganic.
Power is independence.

That is why hate feels like power
Power is the ability to move independent of the flow around you
And hate resists the flow
But it does not create a flow

Will power is moving uphill
Forcing yourself against the flow

People struggle with the idea of God
because they are struggling with an idea
and God is not an idea.
They are struggling with their mind
instead of resting their consciousness on their spirit.
Would you try to exercise by using your mind
to think yourself into physical fitness?
Men seem to be uncomfortable with the idea of their spirit
just as women seem to be uncomfortable with the idea of their body.
They are uncomfortable with the things that they think they need to control
but can't.

Science will preach health as the new God
because it is slowly becoming the only undeniable, universal good
that is readily communicated in a fractured culture.
Healthy mind
Healthy body
Healthy soul

So if health is the undeniable good
Where does the desire to self destruct come from?
As we feel the need for health clutch us, we freak.
People freak when they realize that they need something,
especially if that need is impossible to deny.
So they fight their own system, the tiny government of
their own bodies.
They smoke cigarettes
party
starve themselves
cut themselves off from friends
why?
Because they don't want to need them
And they do need them
So all they can do is try to turn that want into a reality
that will last only a short time until it burns out.
But the want existed once
They made their desires exist, they made themselves exist
if only in youth.

The more valiantly they fight the need
the harder they try to make their desires happen
the more health will hurt them.
It's a fight they will lose.

Why fight? Look at genesis.
Why did adam and eve choose to eat the forbidden fruit?
Their decision hurt them.
What did they want?
Adventure?
Control?
Self-actualization?
Power?
Freedom?
Maybe they are all words for the same thing.
Building freedom and spending it. I like that idea.

Expect everything to end.
Once you expect it
and understand it
try to hunger for it.
Once you learn to hunger
learn to hate it.
Because even your hunger
must end.
repeat this impossible process
until you can stand still
and feel yourself being propelled
upward, your mind reaching forward,
grasping and releasing mental models
and experiences at an incomprehensible rate.
This is the closest the mind can get
to really feeling the beautiful, constant
motion and flow
that the organic body rest inside of.

I know it is terrifying.
Diving into an incomprehensible, foreign, and absurd world is terrifying.
This process forces your mind to be conditioned and strengthened against this fear.
I suppose you could call it an excercise in courage.

Kristian told me that modern medicine is starting to believe that cancer is caused by an acid/base imbalance in the body.
You can test your Ph balance by spitting on a strip of Ph test paper (half an hour after eating).

Such a simple solution
to such a sad problem.

Knowledge is so tricky.
It's so empty. It's not beautiful. It isn't fulfilling.
But it's so incredibly useful for solving problems.
And we rarely get sad from a lack of beauty
(unless you're Lizzie)
but we do lose hope because of our problems.

All we ever want to be is a child
All we ever need to be is a parent
