| You want a post? Here's a post!!!!Sorry I haven't posted comment in a LONG, LONG time. ....... i've been busy with my.... scrapbooks!!!! (inside joke with the fam.) My life has been really interesting this past year, but as of late it has been really good. Today was really interesting. After my morning run and shower, I was sitting in my living room getting ready to go outside and do some work in the garden, which my mother has been asking me to do for several days.... (side tracked). Anyway... my mother called me freaked saying she had just received a call from ADT security saying that Maw Maw's (my grandmother) fire alarm had gone off and she could not get ahold of her. So.... Me being a great son and grandson. I ran out of my house to my truck and proceeded to speed down the drive and down the street. At this point i really wasn't observing the speed limit signs. But i still don't think 45mph in a 25mph was that bad, But once i saw the fire truck go past the street i was driving down i didn't slow down. Seeing this just worried me even more. I ended up catching up to the fire truck and pulled up to the house the same time they did. jumping out and seeing no smoke or fire helped calmed my nerves. Well... come to find out, my Maw Maw was doing laundry and was using for steamer on her clothes, right under the smoke alarm setting the system off some how. The fire fighters were very understanding and just glad everyone was safe. I stayed at the house with Maw Maw for a while after that and helped her move her steamer out from under her smoke alarm so this thing would not happen again. After such an exciting start to the morning, i left Maw Maw's house and came back home. While pulling into the drive i noticed to CHPD cruisers parked across the street in front of my neighbors property which is under construction. The officers were talking to a guy (who was not one of the construction workers) holding a large spool of copper piping under his arm. I found this to be quite interesting, so after parking my truck I went into my front yard to play ball with my dogs. Next thing i see, the officers has this guy up against the fence doing a full body frisking. This peaked my interest even more. Continuing to watch..... They placed him under arrest, put him in a cruiser and drove down the street toward the police station. I knew the value of copper had gone up recently, but i really didn't know just how desperate some people can be. All of this before 2pm, wow what a, interesting day. As of the rest of the day... it was pretty average, nothing exciting. OK.... For the people who wanted me to post.... I POSTED.... Have a great day.
