The Democractic Party: Racist?

Watching the Democrats reponse to the United Arab Emirates port deal is just another case of liberals playing the race card.

Why can't Dubai Ports World own a couple of terminals in a few U.S. ports?  Because they are Arabic.  That is the argumentation of some Democrats (and even a few Republicans) including a Senator from New York (her last name rhymes with Klinton).  Even though Americans would still be in charge of security and the physical operation of the port, they claim that people should be denied ownership based on the nationality.

Dubai Ports World is purchasing the British company that currently "owns" the ports.  It shouldn't be breaking news that a foreign company is involved in U.S. ports; several foreign companies own ports.  However, some liberals are pretending to be strong on the the War on Terror by pointing out that some citizens of the UAE are terrorists.  Using that logic, the British company should have never owned those ports since the London Bombings of last summer were carried out by British citizens.  Why are liberals judging by nationality (involuntary) are not by content of character (Dubai Ports World has a solid safety record)?

The "Ports" controversy is the latest of dubious democrat positions regarding race.  A few days ago, Al Gore told a Saudi audience that Americans were indiscriminately rounding up all the arabs.  Jimmy Carter and others shamelessly turned the memorial service of Coretta Scott King into a political event -- exploiting the woman.  Hillary Clinton recently compared the House of Representatives to a slave plantation in front of a black audience.  Many democrats even suggested going after Saudi Arabia after 9/11 only because most of the terrorists were Saudis.  We are only left to wonder that since Celine Dion is Canadian, should we nuke Toronto?

The "civil rights superiority" of the Democratic party is being actively eroded by its own leaders.  Of course, all of this will really come back to haunt democrats when they face Condoleezza Rice.

When the Republicans nominate the first woman and the first African-American for President, what will the democrats be able to do?  Sure Hillary Clinton may ask Senator Obama to be her running mate, but that will be seen as a hollow response.

The Bush administration is willing to work with honest Arabs.  The Bush Administration has established the Mexican Guest Worker program.  The No Child Left Behind act has closed the reading and math gap to the lowest levels ever between white and black fourth-grader students.  The congressional republicans passed welfare reform which helped alot of African-Americans get out of welfare.

Condi Rice will reap unintended benefits of a insignificant Port sale.  Silly Democrats.

Iraq's WMD in Syria?

Just when you thought that the weapons of mass destructions intelligence blunder was a story for the history books, a new book from one of Saddam's top military advisors, Georges Sada's Saddam's Secrets, may reopen the case.

Sada was a fighter pilot who worked his way up to #2 in Iraq's AirForce.  Based on information from fellow pilots, Sada describes how civilian aircrafts had the seats removed, were then loaded with dubious yellow barrells, and then flown in 56 flights to Syria under the description of aid for a dam that broke in June 2002.  Oh yeah, this "relief effort" occured in the 6 weeks before the commencement of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Sada alleges that these "yellow barrells" contained chemical weapons.

Furthermore, Sada describes how he personally convinced Saddam to not attack Israel on the eve of the first Gulf War.  Apparently Saddam was planning a massive chemical attack on Israel, but Sada convinced Saddam that Israel had a much more advanced radar system than Iraq and that an attack would be unwise.  General Sada was one of the only people to not only survive a disagreement with Hussein, but actually convince Saddam that he was wrong.

Here is a link to Sean Hannity's and Bob Beckel's interview with Georges Sada:

http://www.msunderestimated.com/SaddamsWMDs.wmv

There have been several other independent reports confirming some sort of transfer from Iraq to Syria:

  • Nizar Nayuf is a Syrian journalist who recently defected to Western Europe.  He has written a letter to a Dutch Newspaper identifying three weapons storage sites within Syria.  He also describes how Syrian President Bashar Al-Asad personally orchestrated the transfer with Saddam.  Nayuf apparently has terminal cancer; thus, he has decided to come forward.
  • A senior Israeli General, Moshe Yaalon, claims Iraq transfered WMD to Syria in the six weeks before the war.
  • The Deputy Commander of CentCom during Operation Iraqi Freedom, retired Lt. Gen. Michael DeLong, says he know "for a fact" that weapons were transfered in Syria, Lebanon, and Iran.
  • David Kay was the leader of the Iraq Survey Group whose report most people refer to as the official word proving the non-existence of Iraqi WMD.  In January 2004 David Kay told a British Newspaper there was evidence that "unspecified materials" were moved from Iraq to Syria before the war.
  • Charles Duelfer, the successor of David Kay to the Iraq Survery Group, says he can't deny there was a transfer of material from Iraq to Syria.
  • Various satellite images show a suspicious increase of truck traffic across the Iraq-Syria border shortly before the war.

Of course, we'll never know if Syria has Saddam's WMD until somebody goes in and gets them.  And that sombody could be Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

Imagine this:  Members of the Washington Press Corp are informed of an unscheduled Presidential Announcement in the East Room of the White House.  As they arrive they notice two podiums are set up.  Finally the cameras are turned on and the President appears as he is walking down the hall to the podium.  There is somebody else walking next to him.  It is Dr. Rice.  They take their positions and announce that Syria has Iraq's WMD.  The President offers main points and a dipolmatic image while the Secretary presents detailed evidence.  They both imply that over 100,000 troops are waiting next door and Damascus ought to cooperate.

Back to reality:  The jury is still out regarding whether Saddam's weapons exist, and whether they exist in Syria.  It should not be taken that the Bush Administration is purposely not finding WMD.  Like Colin Powell before her, Condoleezza Rice is in the position to locate and prove WMD.  Unlike Powell, if Rice is successful then this could be a launching pad to the Presidency.

Did you see Condoleezza Rice at the State of Union Address?  Of course you did, she was hard to miss.

Sitting in the front row wearing an off-white outfit sharply contrasting the dark suits, military uniforms, and judicial robes around her; Dr. Rice was meant to be seen.  It is interesting that on the President’s most important evening of the year, such an effort was made to draw attention to Condi.  A quick google picture search will reveal that Condi’s wardrobe mostly includes black, dark blue, brown, and gray attire.  This off-white color must have been an intentional choice by strategists and Condoleezza herself to start to encourage people to associate the State of the Union with the Secretary of State.

However, as the AP has reported this morning, George W. Bush doesn’t think that Condoleezza Rice will run.  At first, this might seem dismiss speculation of a candidacy, but we need to look a little deeper.  Everyone within the administration, including Rice herself, has never confirmed that she would never run for President, nor that would she not accept a nomination.  There is even speculation that Condi has stated that she would only run if she were “drafted”.  Furthermore, with the duties that come with Secretary of State, particularly in this crucial time, who would want to be seen as a candidate rather than a legitimate Secretary?  Bill Clinton’s political strategist Dick Morris illustrates the situation perfectly in his book, Condi vs. Hillary:

“It was not until January 1952, on the eve of the New Hampshire primary – then, as now, the first in the nation – that Eisenhower even revealed that he would accept the nomination if it were offered.  But even then Ike said that only a ‘clear cut call to political duty’ would induce him to resign his post at NATO, which he called ‘the vital task to which I am assigned.”

“As with Eisenhower, it is the task of Condi’s supporters to convince her that they want her to run for president.  No matter how much they are motivated by belief in her and how much by the desire to prevent President Hillary, the American people must reach out to Rice to ask her to run.”

Like Ike, Rice has an important "post" in the Adminstration.  Who could argue that Secretary of State isn't a vital task to which she is assigned?  Using this forum, as well as others around web, it is a vital task that we show support for Condi.

Even though she has not declared herself a candidate, nor has she a history of seeking advancement in political office, Condoleezza is already polling very strong in hypothetical elections against Hillary Clinton (the strongest democratic candidate).  Almost every poll shows her beating Clinton.  The only other Republican polling well is John McCain.  Unlike Condi, McCain would have trouble being nominated.  http://www.pollingreport.com/2008.htm

Despite her esteemed past, current events will prove if Condoleezza Rice is up to the task of President.  Pay close attention to the destabilization of Iran and the election of Hamas.  These situations will serve as Dr. Rice’s moments of truth.  We will be keeping track of her performance.

By now, everyone knows who democratic nominee for President will be in 2008.  Now is the time to pick the Republican strong enough to win in 2008.

Condoleezza Rice has established a tradition of excellence in any task that she takes on.  She is world-class pianist and figure skater.  She earned her Bachelors degree at the age of 19.  She is fluent in the French and Russian languages.  She was the first minority and the youngest Stanford Provost ever.  She was also the most successful.  Based on her extensive knowledge of the Soviet Union, she was recruited to advise the first Bush administration as Communism was dismantled.  She was recruited to educate then Presidential Candidate George W. Bush on foreign policy.  Based on her expertise, Bush insisted that she be National Security Advisor.  When Colin Powell left, it was obvious that there was only one person worthy to be Secretary of State.  Of course, Condi has accomplished all of this and more after being born in the segregated Birmingham, Alabama of 1954.  2008 is not far away and the people must recruit Condoleezza to be President of the United States.

Dr. Rice doesn’t want to be a celebrity.  She does not seek popularity.  She is not interested in flying out to Hollywood and collecting fat-cat donations.  As her stellar resume proves, the job seeks her out and then she, not only meets, but also exceeds expectations.  She has also kept a consistent and genuine image.  Condoleezza has served at the pleasure of the President.  Now, we need her to serve at the pleasure of the people.

This xanga, along with numerous other “grass roots” cyber efforts, will allow the people to recruit Condoleezza Rice for President.  The Internet has put political power back in the hands of the people.  By leaving a comment you will exercise the power of the Internet.  Our goal is to collect the most comments ever in order to support Condi.  Not only has Dr. Rice proven to be a great intellectual, but also she is a tough conservative who is uniquely qualified to take on even the strongest democratic candidate.  Even First Lady Laura Bush is already supporting Condi.

Just by leaving a comment saying something as simple as “I support Condi”, the media, the politicians, and Dr. Rice herself, will realize that we the people want her to be President.

To keep an aggressive stance on the War on Terror, preserve the 2nd amendment, and protect religion in society we need to support Condoleezza Rice in 2008.

EDIT:  We have now created the "I support Condi" blogring.  Joining this blog ring is a great way to continuously express your support of Ms. Rice to all the people who visit your xanga.  Remember, we need to recruit as many people as possible.
