| Happy Halloween! To get into the holiday spirit, The Treehouse (our apartment) had a lil pumpkin carving festivity. It was fun to get the apple cider, pumpkin ale, and creative juices out and flowing...
The Karving Krew
Andrew & Connie...with their mega-watt smiles.

See if you know me better than my dad...guess which pumpkin I carved? |

| I know, long time no update. Sorry guys. To make it up, I leave you with great music (which is very hard to find these days) written and performed by my awesome new apartment mate, Robin Chang: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DwRHsqEF8mY&mode=related&search= http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Qu6w-aBMPU&mode=related&search= |

| France - Brazil 1-0
Les Bleus ousted the five-time World Cup champions 1-0 in a stunningly one-sided quarterfinal game! From the start of this tournament, the French have been written off as too old, but their 1-3 victory over Spain quickly quieted critics. They showed them ALL as they booted out the World Cup favorite! Was it such a surprise? Especially when prior to tonight, France has won 2 (now 3) out of the 3 games played against each other. AND..Brazil and France have played three times since the 1998 final, with France winning 2-1 in the 2001 Confederations Cup in South Korea and then playing to a 0-0 draw in a 2004 friendly in Paris.
Allez Les Bleus! What a brillant game France played, a totally deserved win. World Cup Champs....we got this! |
