| sea starO_O omg........ i think the starfish in the tanks in bio lab are supposed to be dissection material. O_O omg....................... >.< sniff sniff.... ..... it's like knowing that someone you see nearly every day will be killed soon........................................................................................... O_O and yes, i see the starfish like every other day. although we are not yet close friends, i still don't want to see them cut up... omg... ugh. bio. sucks. i don't want to cut up animals... i wish there was an alternative, but the lab manual was like, "if you have ethnical reasons to not dissect, we suggest you consider choosing another major." O_O wow. talk about being harsh. |

| OceanOcean, You are all I need to smile, breathe, and stay alive. I read a USA Weekender article about a surfer who finds that the ocean teaches life's 10 most important lessons. =) And you know what, I feel and understand all those things when I'm out there with only amazing blueness and clarity filled with unleashed power. it's wonderful. =) i think reading that article helped me really strengthen my ideas and feelings.... before they were just wonderful feelings, but now they are Life. i was lucky today; i got to go to the ocean and have a glimpse of its wonder. no wonder the other joggers passing by seemed so happy and smiley. =) i couldn't help skipping or "blinking" with joy as well! along the way, yellow ribbons tied to the railings of the bridge fluttered in the wind. i think they were ribbons to support the troops. what a wonderful and perfect place to have those ribbons. bridge between the ocean and the land: similar to the troops overseas and separated by a vast ocean from the mainland USA (or from us). but even though they are still so far and distanct, we are still connected to them through the "bridge." maybe they aren't so far; maybe they are just beyond the horizon. they are honestly so amazing for their bravery. same with firefighters. i heard on the radio that the firefighters battling the wild fires work 3 weeks straight before getting a 24 hour break! WOW. =O that is so amazing. it makes the troubles in our daily lives so insignificant and stupid. i'm really amazed with people's hearts and the strength it gives them. so in honor of the ocean and all its wonder, i think i will post individually on each of its life's lessons because i have to do bio hw now... >.< ugh. on the plus side... i stole a pipette (disposable ones) so i can "practice" (more like play) my pipetting skills! hehehehehe =D <3 ichigo wow.... my thoughts are really jumpy. haha |
