| I guess since people are requesting that I update, I will take some time in my busy schedule and say a few things. I am currently working as an MT at St. Paul University Hospital in Dallas. You will find me running about the surgery and ICU floors in the day! I am prepping for next fall when I will be going to med school in Missouri. It's gonna be very cold in the winters there, so I'm gonna buy some necessary gear. It's gonna take some more years to reach my real career, but in the end, it will all be worth it. Besides all that, I am happy with my guy and having fun exploring Dallas' new sites. Tonight, we'll be celebrating and eating sushi! =) Hope that all of you are having as great of a life as I am and stay warm! | | |
| Wow, I haven't logged on for ages, it seems....A lot of things has happened in my life, and I am so thankful for it all. First of all, I think I have found the man of my life. Second, I am close to finishing my internship as well as graduating in May. I plan to work as a Med Tech for a year before med school. Third, I have some awesome friends from UT Austin who I will miss (getting krunk with) . Fourth, my family is going to have a business soon. Last, but not least, my health and physical fitness is the best it has ever been. I am looking forward to the future!!  | | |
| MCAT's over and just started the Medical Technology program at Austin State Hospital! I am so lucky to have gotten chosen for this program! Not only is it no tuition, but I get a monthly stipend for learning! woohoo! =) I hope all the people I haven't talked to in a long time are doing well in their lives. This whole summer was pretty much spent on the BIG test I had, but now it's finally over, and it was worth it! =D Gonna head down to D-town this weekend for Labor Day and party up a storm...hehe... | | |
| Summer vacation has been really good. Doing the relaxing that I deserved. Today is Memorial Day! Woke up and went tanning and swimming with my pookie. Made some juicy burgers. Rented some more movies with my rent-all-I-want pass for one month at Blockbuster! Came home and prepared tuna, salmon, and things to make sushi. Also, we are making miso soup...Drooling yet? Next weekend, we are heading to San Antonio to have some fun! =) I have never been happier! Well, hope you all are having a great vacation or having fun wherever you are! Best wishes....Lanie | | |
