Xiao's Fun and Food-Filled Weekend

Thursday: Gambier
- Woke up ridiculously early, got 5 hours of sleep, commuted for a hella long time
- Made soup! Became a professional stir-er
- Went out into the woods, got bit by a bug, wrote about it
- Stuffed self with lasagna
- Dressed up (not really) and heard everyone else's brilliant pieces
- Rapped to everyone's names (Ellen's gellen, David squashes aphids)
- Stuffed self with desserts
- Sing-a-long!
- Talked way into the night, got stuff thrown at us, got randomly whacked by Johnny, slept 2 hours

Friday: Gambier/Victoria
- Woke up ridiculously early yet again, ate, ferried
- Sing-a-long on ferry
- Got home, showered, unpacked, repacked, more driving and ferrying to Victoria with Michael
- Ran into the Thurbs
- Rode double-decker bus to downtown Victoria =D...attacked by branches on the way
- Wandered around downtown, got lost twice, Reyna fails as a tour guide
- Old Spaghetti Factory rocks my socks. Ate 3 loaves of bread but otherwise fails at eating.
- Went home and conked out early. Slept like a log.

Saturday: Victoria
- Woke up super early, Reyna's mom and Diana came to visit
- Shopped downtown, ate some sushi, very impressed by mint chocolate after-meal candy
- Watched The Prestige which rocked all of our socks, Hugh Jackman = sex
- Bought shades which were too small and causes headaches
- Ghost Train + Cornfield Maze were umm..like super scary. Lion + Camel = annoying. "Oh no not again! No no!" 
- Jess fails at following right paths in maze, Mike fails at kidnapping children + not getting hit in the face
- Dinner at White Spot, soooo much deep-fried goodness, although wasn't even hungry to begin with.
- Ugly Betty, Grey's, and Six Degrees Tape. McDreamy = Emo. 
- Sleep at 2, kicked Reyna off bed twice.

Sunday: Victoria/Home
- Woke up early, Reyna's shampoo smells funny, packed up
- Went to wax museum, Happy looked Scary
- Chocolate covered Gummy Bears are good
- Lunch at Milestone's, didn't fail at eating for once =)
- Reyna's bag broke again, bought a new one with pirate
- Double-decker bus ride to ferry, Michael and I found our also Spanish-speaking alternate universe selves. Mine is a puta and wears non-pants + boots, Miguel's is feo and has an earring. Pretty weird shit.
- Contemplate stalking ourselves, decide no, but we have such mad skillz that they come to us
- Random trio of guitar, banjo and mandolined musicians play on ferry, call themselves Headwater, country folksy and made us feel all warm and fuzzy inside
- Michael's mommy picked us up, and Xiao is now home

Things Xiao DIDN'T Do Today

- Make it to the gym on time

- Hit it off with cute Brazilian guy

- Actually get to work out at said gym upon late arrival

- Even FIND Sophia at the gym

- Go to Tim's

- Not get stung by a freaking bee on the freaking foot

- Not limp to the bus stop after getting freaking stung by freaking bee

- Get a ride with Andy instead of limping to the bus stop/ home

- Get out of going to Whiterock tomorow

Worst freaking day of my life.

Hey kids. It's like quarter to 4 in the morning at Alissa's and the house smells like poo and puke. Deeeelicious. Tommy and I are in in the smell-free room of her brother. Much lesbian hilarity has occured. Xiao feels violated. I had to go all the way to Trafalgar to pee but I got to ride in a shopping cart =D. Tommy is currently taking pictures of himself on the bed with random tools. I think hes trying to be manly but he doesn't fool me that pansy. Anyways, we shall be going to watch the sunrise in a few. Xiao is tired but content. Sleep tight suckas.

Hooooly crap. Longest day of my life. The sunrise thing didn't work out so then we tried to have breakfast at A&W which didn't open till 9. It was 5:30. So we clambered all the way up the hill to Kerrisdale and sat sadly like little homeless children in front of McDonald's and yelled random obscenities while waiting for it to open. Then we ate the fat-infused english muffin sandwiches in tired glee and took the autobus back down the hill. I sleptwalked down Trafalgar and miraculously made it home in one piece at 7am. I think my mom was too tired to get angry at me as she squinted down at me from the top of the stairs and asked me if I had slept and what time the movie ended (random) to which I replied no and 11 PM last night. She seemed satisfied and said "Good." before retiring back to her room. I slept in the basement till 5 PM and now my biological clock is officially f-ed up muthafuckas. Anyways, gd times. Hope ya'll had a nice weekend.

Another year, another ending, and another soon-to-be beginning. Endings always make me ponder x). It's ridiculous how fast everything seems to be going by. If you blink you'll probably miss it. I remember the first day of grade 8 but not what I did last week. And now everyone's graduating and everyone's leaving and pretty soon we'll be doing the same and that kind of scares the shit out of me. Oh well =). In the mean time:

1. Must get fit for summer (hahahahah...yeah no)

2. Must get fatter for Teresa (more likely)

3. Must not overanalyse (at least when sober)

4. Must party it up and get hammered (w/o pulling a Ryan) as much as humanly possible

5. Must make hella cash at Playland

6. Must catch up on the Zs

7. Must hang out with everyone

8. Must have many intensely thought-provoking (drunken) conversations 

9. Must eat many candy apples from Rocky Mountain

10. Must have best summer yet
