| I have to ask this question... How many of you have a member in your family that is like a witch doctor.. or always has a preference as to what type of home remedy to use as a catch all.. Like my mother in-law she says aloe cures everything.... Got a burn.." Put aloe on it"... cut yourself shaving... "Put aloe on it"... got a sliver... "put aloe on it"... have hemorrhoids???... well you get the picture lol. Well now my sada is turning into her mother right before my eye's ( not that its a bad thing mother-inlaw).. But the other day I had a migrain from hell.. I was on the golf course playing a match and had to leave because i was tossing up my bacon and egg's. I mean I was hurting.. well sada came home from a hard days work at the green house and comes to me and says...."put a banana skin on your forehead"..... A banana skin? now im really thinking oh sure I can see it now. I'm laying there w/ a stupid banana skin on my forehead and she sneaks in w/ the digital snaps a few funnys for her blog.. Topic: What can you get your hubby to wear? Yeah like Im that gullible. Then it really hits me.... OH MY GOD!!!! shes turning into her mother!!!! But i'll be damn if i put banana skins on my hemorrhoids! So tell me... whats your cure all remedy? | | |
| Well this weekend was mother's day weekend and i had all the fun i think. My poor wife had to work and i went turkey hunting... and fishing for spring browns on lake Ontario. Saturday morning bagged a nice 3 yr old bird w/ a 10" beard. Sunday caught 12 nice brown's ranging from 5 to 8 lb's w/ 1 going 10.6 lbs. I booked the charter back in january for a present for my wife SADA. She loves to fish and loves to eat fish more i think. I know what some of you will think.... a fishing trip for mothers day???? Isn't that like buying her a shot gun for christmas? Well lemme say this it might have been alittle selfish of me to book the trip... you see i love to spend time w/ my sada especially when she is smiling. If you have ever been lucky enough to see her smile you'll know why i feel that way. She will brighten the whole room. And believe me she smile's when she is catching fish. It was also very rewarding to spend a day w/ my girl's tracy and kelly. My daughter's have become beautiful young lady's and even though kelly slept most of the trip, it was nice to have her along. I got to enjoy my wife's wonderful mothering first hand. As some of you know i traveled alot when my girls were young and sada had to be the Mother and the Father for them and i couldn't have been blessed by Jesus more than to have sada as the mother of my children. Ok i've seen i have struck a funny bone w/ my beautiful wife. But lets first set the record straight my dear. I didn't win the state championship.I won the "NATIONAL" points championship.... big difference as far as sponsor's are concerned lol. And we do have ski's w/ little wheel's in them on the front w/ a giant slick track to run on asphalt. I run the 1/4 mile in 10.68 sec's @ 120 mph. It is this kind of manly thing that women just can't understand. "Mines Bigger", Mine's Faster", "Mines Better".
So as most men can undertsand its a kind of honor thing that drive's us to be better, faster, stronger. I think it's called testosterone. If and when i get beat i will just build a bigger motor and whala.... i'll be the fastest again . I have this motto......" Bigger is Better, More is LAW".
And for you smart aleck's it doesn't pertain to my woman.(thats for you honey) lmao. P.S. How many e-props do i get for that one honey *wink* | | | |
