A Lot of Time to Think!

Wow is it late at night and I have been thinking a whole lot lately. I meant to do this 20 minutes ago, but I have been commenting on people's walls on facebook. Its kind of funny, one of my friends got engaged and all I talked about was how he never wears pants. I think its good to change things up once in a while because nobody wants to hear the exact same thing over and over and over and over and over again. Also I added a few prospective friends (that is if they are willing to accept my handshake of friendship through facebook). Anyways, I really hope that people don't include how we connect b/c it depresses me, people just aren't creative or imaginative anymore. Usuallly when I think I start coming up with some decent entries and people will say do you know what that is a really good entry. They might not litterally say it or comment on it, but man are they thinking it.

I have been thinking about life in general. This summer I hope to seek employment at a camp. These camps have been asking me questions like my beliefs, testimony, and a lot of questions reflecting my self. It makes me miss having the internet b/c I can't constantly check when things change and what not. It turns out I already have missed 1 interview session for a camp. I have been thinking about just how I should be really praying for these camps this summer, not necessarily that I will get hired by them. These camps will get the right people for the job. If I don't get any job at a camp, man I really want there to be really awesome people to be doing it than me.

I have also been thinking about how sometimes we are expected to grow up so fast. You know, it seems like after elementary school, we are faced with all these decisions like classes and then jobs and then colleges and then real jobs and family and marriage. It seems like things never slow down and we never get the chance to just sit down and think about life and what is important. I don't know if anybody has read the Big Picture, but it is a really good book. It is really great b/c its like you can literally hear Tom Nelson's voice when you read it. Its pretty cool. It turns out I am going on the winter retreat. For some reason, I always end up signing up for things, that I probably should be going to.

We Are All Hypocrites!

I am so glad that I get so many days off work, I don't go back to work until Thursday. It is going to be a good break to take. I have been observing people and today at work we had this conversation about celeberities and poltics. They just started talking about how the Bush administration sucks and whatever. Then they started talking about Bono and how he is such a jerk. They are like he advocates the poverty in Aids, but he is really rich and dosen't give any of his money to them. I am thinking who gives us the right to talk about people we don't even know. It is so werid that we talk about celeberties like we know them and we criticize them without even knowing who they are.

Anyways, they kept on going on and on about how celeberties just want publicity and money and don't care about anybody. I was just thinking about us in general, what about us? We are always the first to criticize people about how they live their life. When we ourselves don't live lives like that. I mean honestly what have we done to make the world a better place. I mean from our paychecks how much of it do we donate to a charity? In our spare time, how much do we volunteer and not b/c its something we have to do. I mean we are jerks, we are hypocrites. I am sick of hearing about everybody criticizing one another and to do something about it.

When I start realizing this, I start understanding more about just how much God loves us and how we are just depraved people and our justice would be going to hell. Thanks to Him and His love and grace, we can go to heaven. I am glad God is everything that I am not.

Happy Birthday to Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So today is my birthday, I see some people I know, but I think they have no idea, so thats kind of funny. It dosen't really fell like my birthday for some reason. Anyways, I am just on break at Voertmans, I meant to post this so people could come visit me throughout the week. I am actually buying people's books back outside at the Church of Christ on Welch, so it is lots of fun. I feel a lot of love because of people writing on my wall friends, family. I have to reply back soon to everyones posting to thank them for the notes and best wishes and stuff. My parents are coming in town tonight to take me to On the Border and then I get to watch the Office. It is going to be a day of things to do. I really hope my brother got me the Pirates of the Carribean 2 dvd.

Oh yeah and my birthday is the same day that they announced the golden globe nominees. Oh yeah and Peter Boyle died, that makes me sad because I love Everybody Loves Raymond!

My Birthday Is Coming Soon and I Want A Surprise Party!

So next Thursday is my birthday. I think that I deserve a surprise party. I have never gotten a surprise party and they say if you haven't gotten one when you turn 22, you will never get one. I really want the Cars and Pirates of the Carribean 2 DVD. Those movies were awesome, I don't think I want any other movies besides those, I know you must think why don't you just wait a few years till the price goes down and I say why wait a year when you can have it now. Anyways, so if you got that, I am in need of a surprise party. The only thing about a surprise party is that the person throwing it must know all my friends. I guess that would be hard to determine. Is there 5 or is there on million? Who knows?

Semester is almost over and I am glad, I am so tired and really am looking forward to a break. I thought I had more to say, but I guess I don't.
