There were only four no-restrictions, all-access photo passes distributed at Hot Import Nights, the largest and craziest import car show that hits the New England area.  One was given to the Director of Photography that tours with HIN.  The second was given to another established (and CRAZY published) photographer that tours with them.  The third was given to a Boston professor that taught at the (NESOP) New England School of Photography.  Who had the fourth?

... an incredibly nervous and somewhat undeserving amateur photographer.  Yup.  That would be me.


That pass was golden.  It allowed me ON STAGE during the Miss HIN competition, the Go-Go dancer dance-offs, MC battles, "Yo Mama" spit-off, and a bunch of the other performances.  It also allowed me to climb anywhere and everywhere, including ontop of boxes, up staircases, behind rail dividers, etc.  Other photographers stepped to the side when I wanted to get my shot.  Models were all instructed to look directly at my camera if I ever came around.  It also allowed me to consume as much of NOS energy drink as I wanted.  :)  (Corissa Furr and Alicia Whitten, the 2008 Naught NOS girls were awesome)  Tons of fun, I had two bodies that I played with and ridiculous lighting that I had to get around.
 
At the end of the night, we went out with a bunch of the girls and management.  I off loaded my cards, and off I went.  The ones with the watermarks are the ones I edited and the ones with their watermarks, still my photos, are the ones that they edited.  :)
