| Not Dead YetYeah guys. I'm here, letting you all know that I'm not dead yet. I was just busy, what with talking to my girlfriend on the phone and on AIM, checking out SheezyArt and DeviantArt, catching up on Bleach, and trying to restore my copy of Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow back to its original, completely beaten glory. And, before you ask, yes, I did buy a new (well, used, but it wasn't my old copy) copy of the game. Heh. Not like I expected to see tha game again, but I did have that glimmer of hope in my head that I would find it and own it once again. Anyways, onto anothertopic, I have some new reviews for you all, and it's DS-specific. Today, I review Megaman ZX and Guilty Gear Dust Strikers. First, let's go with the better of the two. Anyways, Megaman was in my heart, possibly, longer than Sonic ever was (can't wait to try out the demo to the Xbox 360 game). I had enjoyed playing as that blue bomber, but the games he releases nowadays are nothing more than mere average-level games. Sure, he got some good gems, like the Aniversary Collection and Megaman X8, as well as the PSP reincarnations of the First Megaman and Megaman X, but c'mon! Since when did Megaman have to be "Card Based"? Capcom has experimented with the series, bringing Zero to his own set of games, even if they were only 4 games long. Well, the Megaman game I've played takes place 100 years (go figure) after the events of Megaman Zero, yet, it's able to link with the story. In the game, you get to choose your main character (Vent or Aile: Both have different things, but relatively, the story and gameplay are the same), and the game starts off with a delivery to the Guardians from Giro Express Transport services. You are attacked by Mavericks (go figure yet again), and the main character and Giro get separated. This is where you get some action. Sure, you start the game as a normal human, but guess what happens to be in the package? Biometal X. When a Maverick Serpent attacks you and your, now found, Guardian soldiers and leader, Biometal X merges with you, and you gain the abilities like the "Legendary Hero". The story goes on, and you soon learn of your boss's secret, which, eventually, gets Giro killed. This is where ZX comes in. Biometals Z and X merge to make ZX: the Model with X's buster shot and Z's sword. Now, I just spoiled the beginning for you, but it was worth it. The gameplay is classic Megaman + some "Zero-based" mission selection, and add a little bit of originality. In this game, you, actually, HAVE to go to your destination before the mission starts. It doesn't warp you there like it did in Zero. Eventually, you pick up more Biometals, all based on Zero characters, Harpuia, Leviathan, Fenfir, and Phantom, all with their unique abilities. Yes, my folks, you don't just copy a boss's attacks, you copy the whole thing. It was fun flying around in Model Hx, Swimming and finding items in Model Lx, Breaking blocks and directing my fire in Model Fx, and dashing past enemies and hanging on ceilings as Model Px. This gets a 5 out of 5. And, now, for Guilty Gear. This game does have quite the original game setup, as well as some bells and whistles (minigames and a custom-character maker, although all you pick is his moves), however, it's setup seemed a bit... lacking. All it was was a jump-around, Smash Bros.-esque, simple fighting game, quite unlike the Guilty Gear I've been told about. But hey, it's still fun to go smash people's heads in with Sol Badguy's sword. There's multiplayer, although your friend has to have a copy of the game to use it, that and it isn't WiFi capable. This gets a 3 out of 5, I'm afraid.
See ya later, I've got to get ready for Anime Banzai,

| New reviewWelcome folks. Today, I refview Tenchu: Dark Secret for the Nintendo DS and Sonic Gems collection for the Gamecube. Which shall I start with? How about Sonic? Ok then. First of all, the game's got some real gems. The rest are just fakes. The gems would be "Sonic: The Fighters", "Sonic CD", and the unlockable games (which I shall leave you to think about. I'll give you a hint: Both start with "V", came out for the Genesis, and one is a sequel to the other). The others... well, they're so-so. "Sonic R" is good for a little while, but not enough to satisfy my need for Sonic. The Game Gear games weren't too bad, either. These are all the sonic games that might not have been found on Mega Collection Plus (other than Sonic Spinball), but are found as unlockables in Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut. So, I don't really find anything interesting about them being in there. It, sure, felt good playing Sonic 2 for Game Gear again, even if I don't remember the "Level Select" cheat. The unlockables are those made from the games that unlock them, from pictures to music to movies to, even, demos of the Genesis games. This gets a 3 out of 5. Now, for Tenchu: Dark Secret. I bought this just because it was an exclusive from Gamestop (meaning, it wasn't available anywhere else). I, also, bought this because I had a curiosity about the Tenchu series, ever since I heard about it on the Playstation. Well... kill me for saying this, but I had fun with it. It is, pretty much, Metal Gear Solid in ninja attire. You plant mines, bamboo traps, and bear traps in the path of your enemies, as well as other gear to slow them down, like Caltroups, Poison Rice, and the signature Ninja's choice of projectile: The shuriken. Now, the camera control is non-exsistant, so there might be some problems, especially with tall walls, but hey. I'm not complaining. The real complaint would be the repeating types of missions. It's either Territory protection, assassination, hostage rescue, or boss battle. They might throw some twists in there, like new enemies and new ways to complete the mission, but once you get to the nitty gritty, that's about it. The online market is an interesting option. you can choose to either trade with friends or complete strangers. You set the items for sale and their prices. you can charge over 5000 yen just for a single shuriken. So, watch for who you trade with. you might get ripped off. this, in reality, gets 4 shurikens out of 5.
Thank you,
And, check out my sheezyart page. it's at http://inuyashadude.sheezyart.com see ya,

P.S. I would recommend Genshiken: The animation. it's got the best kind of Otaku humor there is... although it's rather perverted at times.

| Gone again?yes... I've been absent for so long yet again. Let's just say August has been a bit of a weird month. I feel that my social life, the one I had in high school, is officially caput. Cameron has gone to BYU-Idaho, so I know I won't be able to see him until, at least, I get home from my mission. Everyone else I've known are either still in school, and, more than likely, forgotten about me, or gone for good. When's the next High School Reunion, people?! Anyways, I've, also, been busy with other things, ranging from getting new Video games to work on, to actual work. Yes, my friends. I got hired at Little Caesar's. And, for some strange reason, I want to stay there. It's good pay, considering that it is, about, 85 cents over minimual wage... $6 an hour, in case you never got it. Last time I checked, minimual wage in Utah is $5.15, and I was making from 7 to 10 an hour working with the temp agency. I got tired of the temp jobs, so I went and got me a real job. I am a member of the crew, and, for this week, I got wednesday off. This means that I work Sundays too... just not during church. Anyways, just for your enjoyment, I got a DS game review. This game, which I have had for a month now, has been the most fun I've had on the DS for a while... well, ever since Mario Kart got boring. Going on, the game is Animal Crossing: Wild World. I swear, I have to get on this game every day, just so I don't miss anything. Nothing is old. Everything is, pretty much, new every day. It's much like the Animal Crossing on Gamecube, except with online capabilities. You can design your own clothes, create your own constellations, help make a new face for Blanca the cat, create the town flag, redesign your home, interact with other members of your town (as soon as you get them), help ol' Tom Nook make his shop better by paying your mortgage. You know, the usual Animal Crossing gigs, only with online play. Now, you can invite your friends over to your town so you can do any activity together. This game is getting 5 "Tom-Nook's-Greedy"s out of 5. Next post I do, which might be in shorter time than you think, will contain a review for two games that I got this month: One that just came out last week, and one that is a year old. I will review Tenchu: Dark Secret for the DS and Sonic Gems Collection for the Gamecube. Anyways,
See ya later,

| It's been a while... but I'm backYo folks. Yes, I know. It's been a while since anyone has received a post from me here at Xanga. I'm here to show you guys that I'm not dead yet. Just a bit shooken up. Let's just say I did my share of hating something last night, and almost everyone took it the wrong way. You see, I'm not a big fan of Yaoi, or homosexual anime between two men. I've been getting nothing but yaoi in my SheezyArt Updates box, and I just got a bit upset. That anger spread to others, and they posted their opinions, some agreeing and some who just got the wrong idea. I don't hate the people. I just don't agree with what they do. Don't ask why. I had to explain it to a LOT of yaoi fans. I'm not, entirely, in the mood to explain it now. Anyways, on other news, I had my DS stolen while I was working at the Salt Lake County Landfill, and just had it and MKDS replaced last night. If you want my friend code, Post yours and I'll reply with mine.
See ya later, It feels great to be back on Xanga after all this time,
Jordan
