| well some people have been coming back to xanga lately and i thought i would post something too..im such a follower sometimes. plus nobody ever really reads blogs on myspace..too much work i think. not much tends to go on with me ever, it can really be a depressing viscious circle of nothing. i wake up, go to work, watch tv, and go to bed..somewhere in there i eat too. I rarely see anybody besides my mom and the people i work with. Nobody seems to be doing anything either so we are all boring together it seems, either that or I dont get invited. I guess I can live with that..I would bring my boredom along and really who wants that. I had a professor once who said, "people who are bored all the time are boring people," now that is really a problem for me because I do not really think I am a boring person, but according to his statement I am. He lived a very interesting life probably never boring. He worked as a ranger at some national forest during the summers and even led these groups of students into the everglades every couple of years. He just did what he liked and he was very excentric. The perfect old guy really..I admire excentricity..it makes things interesting. I guess what I am getting at with all this is that I should just start doing what I like rather than not doing anything because I don't really have any money. Nobody tends to have money these days, but that should not keep us from finding something more exciting to do than sitting on our asses watcing tv. | | |
| Its been a really long time since i have written on here! I have a myspace now and I am barely able to keep that up so thats the story on that. I am definitely having fun at camp. It is a completely different experience this year. I am no longer new but there are still things that I need to learn. I am hoping to be asked to be an assistant head next year..which really is the only way that I will be coming back next year so keep your fingers crossed cause I really want that to happen. I will be putting pictures up when I get back so you can all see some of my girls and the places that I have been to. I went to the city which you may know if you read my myspace stuff, but it was a lot of fun. I saw RENT and it was amazing. I am just relaxing and learning more about myself and continuing to be challenged. I may not write on here again for a while so just check my myspace if you want to know what is going on in my life. | I am becoming a little addicted to myspace which is why I haven't written on here for a while my site is myspace.com/peace_in_chaos. I am getting a little sad and excited at the same time..its like my summer is both ending and just beginning. I leave for New York on Sunday which means I will be gone for the next two and a half months and means I won't probably see Heather for at least five months and Jeanell for about the same amount of time. I am gonna miss everybody, but at the same time I am so excited about camp. Yes Jenny I will miss you too of course but you will be there when I get back which is the one thing that I didn't want to say even though I wanted to give you a shout I didn't want to make you seem like a loser..but I am a loser too so we'll be losers together you and I!! | | |
| Okay, so tonight I'm walking out of Jenny's and two older black gentlemen are walking by at the same time I walk out. We exchange casual pleasantries and I begin to continue on my way. Then the one guy begins to ask me questions like do I have a boyfriend and why not? (Answers: No and I couldn't tell ya) I begin to realize a bit late then into the conversation that this man is not just curious he is actually hitting on me. Now I should interject here that his friend has a cane and a graying beard, I could not exactly say how old the guy hitting on me was but he was no spring chicken. He then goes on to ask for my phone number since he really does not have anybody that he can share "coversation" with. I of course said no to which he wondered if he should give me his number, but then figured that I would probably not call him. In the end he pretty much decided that I needed to think it over and he would see me around since he found out earlier before I realized what was going on that I was visiting a friend. So two things, very interesting story to tell and somehow kind of made my day..having anybody say that they "like what they see" is flattering even if it does come from two old guys. | | |
| Man I am so boring...I have sat in my house doing almost nothing for the past three days hoping that I would get called into work. It looks like I am going to have to go back to hell. I worked in a factory for one day and it was like hell with breaks..I hated it, but I really need the money so I guess I'll be going back. It is so crazy to me how easy it has become to do nothing. There are some people who go crazy with not doing anything..not me. Well, thats not entirely true I do get sick of it, yet I do not tend to do anything about it. Once I do get up and about watch out because I do not want to stop its like I've got these two people inside of me warring and only one can win at a time..it is very hard to mix them. | | |
