Just came in from outside.

Trained with the log, two bricks, and a broken cement block.

Did deadlifts, rows, and shrugs with the log.

3 x 10, x 12, and x 20 respectively.

Trained rows and curls with the cement block.

Don't know the count.

Did it til it stopped hurting.

Worked past the pain.

Did shoulders and curls with the bricks.

Shouldn't have done shoulders.

That's for Thursday.

Oh well.

More work doesn't hurt.

Did two sets of 25 of bodysquats.

Deep burn.

Did 1 set of 50 bodyweight calf raises.

Killer.

My legs are naturally strong, and my calves are naturally cut.

They're already strong, I just want them to have endurance.

Got that throw up feeling in the back of my throat.

Can't wait.

I was training outside with sweatspants and an under armour on.

The sweats were weighed down with sweat.

Awesome feeling.

Made up for cheating a little on my diet at dinner.

Done wallowing.

Yes, I'm back.

I actually need this site to document what I'm doing.

I'm going to be following the routine a couple of posts down.

I'm ready.

Back and (none really) bis

Got 405 on DL for 3 consecutive reps.

Happy with that.

Did barbell rows, pulldows, and dumbbell rows to finish.

Didn't train bis cause I went to throw.

Did a set this morning.

Sore all over.

Yay.

I'm slowly easing into training hard.

Next week I'll do everything.

Bench/tris.

Deads/bis.

Squats/shoulders.

Abs and cardio.

It's gonna happen.

Chest and tris.

Trained yesterday.

Chest and Tris.

I'm fried.

All there is to it.

Bench, dumbbell incline, flies for chest.

Dips and overhead EZ curls for tris.

That's all it took to fry them.

Oh, sorry.

Okay, I haven't posted in a while simply because I haven't been training.

I start practice on Monday.

I'm using that to train for a show in May.

Oh yes.

I'm plan on benching 400 by the end of summer.

Weigh 285 by May.

And a bunch of other goals I can't remember right now.

Update on Monday.

- Iron Whore

First day

First day in the gym:

TOTALLY KICKED ASS.

I'm gonna be so sore.

I did squats, which tore me up from the first set.

3 sets 135, 185, 225.

I'm just coming back from a leg injury, so that's okay.

Killer.

Then calf raises.

Then onto DEADLIFT.

Killed 'em.

4 sets, 135, 225, 315, 405.

I got 405 for a massive 3 reps.

Pretty damn good for a guy just coming back.

Then dumbbell deads and pulldowns.

Then to bis to give them a pump.

Did 5 or 6 sets of those.

Killer.

I'm roasted, but it's all good.

I love that feeling.

It's a day before I start my training, and I needed somewhere that I could write down my routine, diet, and expectations.

I'm going to try to keep this anonymous, so if you find out who I am, please don't spoil it for me and everyone else.

I've only been doing a little cardio, but I've been dieting like a madman before I hit the weights.

This is going to be my training routine:

Week 1:

Monday: Thursday: Saturday:

Squat & Pull Squat & Push Pull

Week 2:

Monday: Thursday: Saturday:

Squat & Push Squat & Pull Push

I got it from Steve Jeck's and Peter Martin's Of Stones and Strength.

This should be the most conducive and productive for me. I'm a master of auxiliary lifts, so this should be a great program. I plan on dropping to about the low 270's and then bulk back up to 300 or 310, to be completely solid.

I competed in June of 2004 @ 330, and I was completely solid.

Since then I've had to battle through knee injuries, so that hampered my being solid.

This is all for being a pro and proving all the naysayers wrong.
