Aloha! My new blog is up, albeit only with a few posts and still under a bit of construction. I really like it and I think it reflects more of my personality.

Aloha! It has been awhile since my last post because I have been working on the design of a brand new blog, and I am really excited about it!

 My new blog is going to take a new direction and offer a lot of different resources for brides and couples who plan to come to Kauai to get married and honeymoon. 

I will also be recognizing and giving credit to my favorite vendors that I get the pleasure to work with.

Unfortunately I will be having to say goodbye to xanga as I will be hosted on typepad.  I hope the xanga members that have subscribed to me will follow my new blog too!  So check back here soon for the announcement and link to the new blog!

Mark & Corrine are a really fun and awesome couple.  They had an ultra smooth, perfect ceremony performed by his Dad which was really special.  Corrines Dad is a Kama’aina to Kauai, so it was great that they choose to come out here to tie the knot.  My husband was my assistant on this shoot so we just had a great time photographing these two!

 

Jay and April chose one of the best locations for their beautiful ceremony.  Its one of my favorite places in the whole world and it happens to be be just 5 minutes from my home!  Jay and April complemented each other perfectly and celebrated with an awesome group of friends and family.

I just really adored these two.  Their love for each other was so palpable! The way he looked at her, Wow! They created such a sweet and intimate and joyous ceremony and celebration with their friends and family down at the Kamani Cove on Hanalei Bay.  I especially loved capturing the getting ready details, a lot because Dawn has impeccable taste, featuring a Vera Wang gown and Jimmy Choo shoes, yum! I really enjoyed applying a new look of antique tones and textures to many of the images, really fun!  I pulled a few from the processing line up to give a sneek peek

 

Wes and Lisa are a sweet and gorgeous and young couple IN LOVE.  The small ceremony took place on a magical balmy evening in paradise

I have had the pleasure of doing some really awesome intimate ceremonies like Robert’s and Sarah’s lately and I really love it!  These two were really fun spirited and energetic making it super easy for me   They had a great sense of humor too, expressing that humor in their grand finale shot by having all their family stick their faces in the sand!  I have to say, that was a new one for me and I was thoroughly entertained!

Billy and Bonnie are a very stylish couple! I loved his pinstripe suit with blue shirt and tie and her dress was very hollywood glamour.  Their fun, easy going personalities made it awesome to photograph them and their love and affection for eachother was amazing.

I loved photographing the wedding of Cory & Jamie.  They were the sweetest couple!  They celebrated their union with their awesome family and super cool kids!  Heres some teasers…

Joey and Diane are a really classy pair.  Their wedding was beautiful and their friends and family in attendance to witness and celebrate with them were very endearing.  We had a great photo session with a beautiful sunset to top it all off
