Yes, we are truly enjoying our summer vacation here in northeastern Washington State. We are looking forward to Silverwood Theme Park on Monday and a road trip to Bellingham, WA next weekend. It's all going by much too quickly. Hope you are enjoying your summer as well!

Happy summer!

We are in Washington through July. It has already been so much fun! We are enjoying some texture to the land (mountains, valleys, nice grass to play in, woods). And being able to wear long sleeves and use blankets is great! (Seriously, we've missed cool breezes living in Ft. Myers.) Jeremiah is going crazy at 9 months...trying to talk and walk. He is picking up on things so quickly and wants to figure everything out. He knows who all should be at this house and gets pretty annoyed if anyone is missing (like when Grandma Mary has to be at work or the boys go fishing). His favorite is when everyone is home and he can speed crawl through all the rooms and see everybody...especially if someone else is on the floor with him. He also loves to eat! The only thing we know he's not a fan of so far is pureed green beans...and who can blame him? He will eat the real thing...so I'm not worried.

In case anyone is interested, Seth recorded a new song. However, you'll need to go to his mom's site (cmx2949) to hear it. There are also a bunch of pictures of the little one in her photo album. Check it out! Hope you're having a great summer!

ciao, ciao...

PICTURES!!!

Here they are! I am visiting my parents who have a computer with the internet! How easy to get these up here without a baby in my lap. Hope you enjoy! They are the first, and they may be the last pictures I'm able to post in a long time...

Happy March!

Jeremiah is now six months old! I can't believe how fast he is growing. He is so cute with other kids. We've been meeting a lot of other new moms and young babies at church that we're starting to get together with for play dates. He is also learning how to crawl and is already so fast at getting where he wants to go. He still smiles at almost everybody and is getting better at staying in the nursery during Mommy's Thursday morning Bible study at church. He has two front bottom teeth, and he is working on the top two front ones at the moment. Crazy how fast this all goes! I'm already missing the newborn stage. I think I just heard Jeremiah asking for a little sibling...

We just moved to a new (and cheaper) apartment. It is not as new as the other one, but it is more comfortable and homey. We've only been there for about a week and we're  already all settled in, excepting a bunch of candles and picture frames that Seth is leaving for me to set up. A bunch of the couples in our small group from church brought three trucks and helped us move all the big stuff in about 2 hours. Then one of the ladies came back to help me set up the most important room of any home: the kitchen. We are so blessed to have such awesome friends (and family in Christ).

Speaking of our church family, here's an awesome story. It made me cry, anyway. We are publicly dedicating Jeremiah at church on March 30th. When planning it, our pastor asked us when our family would be here. Well, our families just all live too far away. We were talking about this at a small group meeting, and when we said that, someone in our group said, "We'll stand up as your family." The whole group got so excited and can't wait to demonstrate how we truly feel like family. So, on March 30th, as we dedicate Jeremiah Thomas to the Lord, when Orlando (our pastor) asks our family to stand, our whole small group (and a few others) will all stand up. How awesome is our God to bring us to such an amazing, Christ-like branch of HIs Church!

Hope you are also seeing the hand of God in your life this March!

How dreary it is...K, just kidding. It's absolutely beautiful here in Ft. Myers today. Blue sky, cool breeze, warm day. Almost warm enough to think about the pool...but not quite.

We had a wonderful Christmas catching up with so many wonderful friends and family. And we were so spoiled with too many gifts this year (including a singing, dancing snowman...). Hope yours was just as wonderful and that you were surrounded by people you love.

We have been, yet again, provided for by our amazing Lord. We were looking for a new place to live that might be a little cheaper for us as I'm staying home with Jeremiah. God went before us to help us find a place that is a good deal less per month as well as helping us out of a possible sticky situation with our current rental company. Praises! We look to move in March.

Also, Seth has encouraged to start attending the ladies' Bible study held Thursday mornings at our wonderful church. They are doing a Beth Moore (sp?) study on the Psalms of Ascent, and I have already been so blessed and encouraged by it in just 2 weeks (as well as by the fellowship of my sisters in Christ and some time away from the house and without Jeremiah). I have such a wonderful husband and an amazing God!

My son is pretty amazing, too. He smiles and laughs a lot. He is trying to crawl...but can't really lift his belly up yet...so he's doing the backwards circle scooting. It's so cute. He still loves music, loves anyone who talks to him and can't wait til he's running around with the big kids he sees at Seth's school. Hopefully we'll figure out how to get pictures up for you all. If not, we'll just have to refer you to Grandma Mary's sight and ask her to put some up for us!

Hope you are having a good and blessed 2008 so far. Have a wonderful day!
