  • Let me take that back...

Okay, so I never really shut down my weblog. I just don't use it. I have been using my Xanga subscription mostly to continue receiving your weblog entries. I've really been enjoying those, and it sounds like you all are doing pretty well.

For a quick update on myself, I'm now back from my first year of college and am working pretty much full-time this summer. College was amazing - this past year was one of the toughest years of my life and also one of the best!

I hope I can continue to keep in touch with you guys. Love you!

  • Change is in the air

Well, guys, I have realized that I really am not doing anything with Xanga - nor have I done anything for several months, as you have probably noticed. I really enjoy reading all your posts that come to my inbox; however, I think that I need to shut down my weblog and not waste this space.

I use Facebook often and would love to see all of you there! Some of you already are and I am glad for that. Please check out Facebook.com - it's so much more secure than Xanga, anyway, and a lot of fun!

    I love you guys!

  • Apologies...

Wow! You guys must think I've dropped off the planet or something. Nope. Just gone to college. It's amazing how much one's life can change. I mean, I still have found time for some things - just not Xanga. Sorry, everyone! I appreciate the comments a few of you have left.

So what is up with everyone? I cannot believe it is nearing the middle of October! Where did this semester go? Anyway, I am doing very well and love it here. I'll try to catch up with you all sometime. In the meantime, farewell! Love you all very much!!

  • Complaining...

After reading Narnian Dryad's latest post, I realized no one has commented on my last little note, either. Not sure whether it's my fault for not posting more often, or........

Anyway, hope all of you guys are enjoying the last days of summer!

  • I have sadly neglected my Xanga since discovering Facebook. I find that I forget all about Xanga (except for the subscriptions daily mailed to my inbox) for weeks. I cannot promise that I will be any better, but I will try to post something every once in a while. For those of you who have a Facebook - look me up! It is [another] good way to keep in touch. Perhaps a better one...

It is now just about five weeks until I must head off to my new life at college. Again I am having mixed feelings as I both want to jump into classes, experience living in a dorm, and make new friends - and to keep life from changing so drastically.
I am looking forward to quitting my jobs, I must admit. I am one to two weeks away from leaving my office job, and perhaps two or three weeks away from ending my theatre job. (For those of you who haven't kept up with that, I've been working as office assistant/receptionist at an electric supply and as floor staff at the local movie theatre.)

Tonight is the final study in a summer Bible study the ladies of my church have been doing. Our lesson book is called "Humility: The Journey Toward Holiness" by Andrew Murray. It is very good and soo convicting. I have greatly enjoyed studying humility with these friends and discussing humility as the greatest virtue and hardest to achieve. The header I have now is a quote by Thomas a Kempis that is given in the book; there are several others just as beneficial.

    Farewell for now, my friends!

About Me

  • I am just an ordinary young woman working through everyday life's struggles and joys.
