| the more i get addicted to facebook, the more my xanga dies.
life has been great lately. high school ended a month and a half ago. some still can't believe its over. i'm more or less ready to move on. it really wasnt the best four years of my life but i definitely did some growing up. either that or i just know my weaknesses and i'm pretty determined to strengthen them in college. i'm sure 10 years from now i'll chuckle at all the stupid memories and all the stupid fights that happened.
summer has been pretty good. i went to europe for a month =) it was a once in a lifetime experience and i'd definitely do it all over again regardless of all the high school drama that broke out amongst the young'ns. it was also more or less a warm-up for college. just to see how i'd do with complete strangers. honestly, i was on rocky ground at first and hopefully i can do better in september.
so if you guys plan on visiting europe make sure you follow this list
top things to do in europe:
1) have a conversation with a guard [usually you can get up close to the ones in king james' palace instead of buckingham].
2) sing "its raining men" outloud when walking on the streets of london [in the rain]
3) look right first when crossing the streets in london
4) make sure you know the exchange rates
5) avoid annoying street vendors trying to sell souveniers
6) visit the eiffel tower at night at the beginning of the hour
7) look on the opposite wall of where the mona lisa hangs in the louvre
8) walk through the 'red light district' in amsterdam [preferably at night]
9) visit neusheinstein [sp?] in germany. dont take a horse carriage. walk uphill for 30 minutes.
10) scream at the top of your lungs when you're standing on the highest point of mount pilatus [swiss alps] in switzerland
11) smile at cute italian boys in italy
12) go to the discoteque to dance with cute italian boys in italy
13) know that gondola rides in venice cost 100 euros
14) drive through tuscany [and maybe even walk through the sunflower fields]
15) visit the beaches of the adriatic sea at sunrise, sunset, and at night
16) watch horny penguins in the aquarium in genoa italy
17) visit segrada de familia in spain [preferably when it finishes in 20 years]
18) watch a flamenco dance
19) try a sangria
20) TAKE AS MANY PICTURES AS POSSIBLE | | |
