It is interesting to see how much I have changed over the past a year or so... From a sorta nerdy EE major, who thought circuit-design was the way to go... To a potential trader/investor, trying to generate profit from all kinds of inefficiency out there, wanting to play with the fear and greed God gifted us...

I think I was always looking for something like that in my early years, since I did not love to do anything... well, maybe I do love some sports... but definitely not anything that could evolve into a career... I have found a few things I can do well, in terms of "beating" the majority of the population... but after all, I think no one should do things just for ppl's cheer... It reminds me the gladiators...

However, I do somehow know where my passion is... I believe the entire world is an object to understand... well, since I am a big fan of Zen, maybe even that is not totally true... One of my favorite lines is that "Even freud could not analyze himself, so what do you expect from me?"...

Well, well, I do WILL to understand the world, as much as possible... And here we go... ... Finance is a starting point, a big picture of how capital/human-desire flows... One day I hope I will start to travel all over the places, and explore the details that must be seen, heard, and felt to understand.... tbc... will change tomorrow or something... =)

Wow, winter quarter is over... In my entire life, I spent the least time on school work... copy HW or just do not do them at all.... got my very first B on an EE class... spent even less time on a finance class, which fortunately Aced... paid 65$ for a golf class, and did not go after 3 weeks into the quarter... man, I love golf... however, but...

All because I found something I am so addicted to... The Market... Stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and the ppl behind... Can not wait to be a "full time trader" (intern =) ) in the summer... I might get up 3:00 am and track/trade stocks until 1-2 pm... then tons of reading...

Well, well, before that I will go back Shanghai for a month or two, during which I will upgrade to an UNCLE!

That is pretty much it... back to my The Economist and Finance.yahoo...

Busy, Busy...... Now I have a bit time to waste since the school work kicks in (midterms on the coming Mon and Tues)... I feel that I do not care much about them at all... I was never a good student in terms of learning what was taught... ... and now I am totally a bad one... =)

1) The world is easy to understand...

2) However there is too much illision...

First... I made the move I was considering over the past month(s)... Now it all get started... man, long way to go, if I will stick with it... But I AM EXCITED... Did not feel that for a while, hehe... I am still young, maybe...

Second... I watched the Last Samurai yesterday... Great movie! I do not want to comment on how close to what really happened in Japan it was... But... I do not know how to put it exactly... There are plenty of ppl amazed by Japnaese electronics... e.g., me... a Sony fan... However, I can never stare at a piece of MD player or Digital camera in the same way as when I face a master piece of fine sword... well, maybe because it is more expensive... hehe... ...
