Hey Kids! So yeah, still need lots of prayer regarding work. I forgot how hard first days are at a job. Oh well, it is getting steadily better. I'm determined to stay there even after my internship so I am going to learn as much and help them out as much as I can. One major drawback to having a job...I have no free time. I have been living at camp, but I hardly see anyone. I haven't even had time to ride my 4-wheeler. Tomorrow is church, yay! Besides getting to learn about God, I also get to see people! Woohoo! Can't wait.

Wahoo! So I am all moved into God's Mountain. I rode around on my 4-wheeler a little bit. I think it will be fun having that around. I really don't want to go on the scary trails. I'm not a talented enough 4-wheeler operator. Oh well. I'm going out to dinner with the boys and Heidi. Originally it was just going to be with Heidi. It just sort of morphed into a large group. It is good to be back. As pesky as all of the boys are, they are good guys and fun to be around. Gotta go. Pray for my first day of work tomorrow .

So we just moved the biggest couch in the world into a room the size of a shoebox. It is the first time I have used geometry to solve a real life problem..bravo to me . Tomorrow is my last day of school FOREVER!!!! Yay! I have one really dumb final in the morning and another equally...no actually worse....final in the evening. After that I am free! Leaving school is somewhat bittersweet though. Sniff..... I won't have peers my age around me constantly..I will miss my friends here. Such sweet people they are to put up with me all these years . I love them dearly and they are trully the only thing that made this place bearable. God has blessed me.

Well now I am on to bigger and better things right? Hope so. I have my internship figured out. Maybe they will be so impressed by my abilities that they will not be able to do without me.... whatevah. No, I think I will do a good job, and God is faithful to provide paths for us all. I just need to trust that and follow the one He has for me. In any case I will be living in MO, and contrary to some opinions, is a great place to live. I'm excited to be with friends, meet more, and basically make a life there. What a blessing to be given that opportunity.

Um, so I am going to be on the road a lot in the next few days. Good quality time with my car radio.....never was there a time I wanted a CD player in my car more. Bubba II just doesn't cut it. Pray for my Dad and I to have safe travel. I can't wait till I don't have to travel multiple hours to everywhere I go... besides Wally World.

So I am off to spend my last night in the dorms. Woohoo! Thank you God for getting me through!

I've been emailing back and forth with Jamie. She seems cool, in fact, very nice indeed. We share a lot of things in common so sharing a living space shouldn't be too rough. She sent me a pic; her cat is cute. Truthfully, so is she. She is training for Ragbrai...very impressive. Too bad she is at camp in June before the Family Bike Day.

I talked to Grace and Lydia tonight. It has been a while since I even talked to someone who wasn't college-age. Makes me realize what a bubble we live in here. I am glad to be leaving.

Pray for my Consumer Behavior test on Tuesday! I must do well on these last two tests so I can graduate

Happy Birthday to Sara, okay actually it is a day early but we are pulling a fast one on her. She is anticipating tricks on her birthday so we are doing it one day earlier and she has no idea! The jig will be up momentarily. We are eagerly awaiting her coming back from class.

I had aqua aerobics this morning again. We got to go down the water slide! Yay! It is way fun. I wasn't scared of the water slide but oh my goodness...I was so scared of the stairs to get to it. I know I am afraid of heights but that was ridiculous.

Hmmm, I need to wrap Sarah Brouwer's wedding shower gift. It is hard to imagine that my friends are getting married. It is hard to imagine that I am even old enough. Half of the time I feel like I am twelve inside. They say that when you get older it is nice to have the child within; I will just consider it a blessing for the future.

I'm ready for a nap and it is only noon. My pillow is calling and I think I may skip Personal Wellness. Have a sweet day!

I think that must be my absolute favorite song. I don't know what it is about it. Too bad it is the Dixie Chicks who sing it.

American Choppers is a great show! lol I guess I enjoy laughing at a dysfunctional family, but they do have some really sick bikes . I helped someone blow up their tire today, that is about as close as I get to being mechanical. Despite my lack of mechanical skills I still seem to like to watch all of the car and motorcycle shows. I totally want "Pimp My Ride" to come and work on my car. I don't think my car is cool enough from the beginning for them to even consider it though. It would be the first grandma car they would have ever worked on.

I like my toe ring. I am considering getting more toe rings so I have more variety. Mom saw my toe ring and said she wanted one too. I'll give it to her for Mother's Day. My graduation party is on Mother's Day so I guess I owe it to her for forcing her to work on the holiday in her honor. I think we are having a bunch of family over; I'm hoping to rake in a few gifts . Hopefully it doesn't turn into a fist fight between my dad and my uncle. Maybe I will sit between them.....its like two children. Oh well, they need to get over their differences sometime. Maybe I should just let them fight it out. They are both pretty old so it couldn't last long. lol

Did you know that the world's most deadliest job is being a fisherman? How bizarre. At least that is what the Discovery channel said. Anyway...random stuff, I know.

Campus was so fragrant tonight...that is one thing that I like about living at school. They have all of these flowering trees and shrubs that make Spring a really beautiful and fresh time of year.

I am reading about flooring an awful lot lately. I want to be prepared for my internship and that is what they said I should do, so I am doing it. Did you know that natural quartz rates at a 7 on the hardness scale and a diamond rates a 10. Quartz has four times more flexural strength than granite. Amazing...

I should get to bed...I have to drive home tomorrow. I am taking a load of my stuff home. Boy do I have a lot of stuff. You never really realize it till you have to pack it up and store it somewhere. I require lots of storage space.

Hey all!
So I almost got run over by a bicycle this morning. I came thiiiiiis close to getting plowed over by a bicyclist who I think was not quite awake yet, or maybe he was checking me out. The more and more I think of that idea the more I like it . In an effort towards heroism, he bailed from the bike to prevent squashing me. I thought that was really nice of him.

I went to the podiatrist today. He did mean things to my foot and now I wish he would have just cut my foot off. I suspect it would hurt less. Actually....I am in favor of more aggressive treatment if it will fix my chronic foot problem. I will be excited to be able to wear high-heeled shoes for a prolonged period of time again. I have the cutest little pink numbers..... In the meantime, pray that my supply of pain reliever lasts.

We are going out for Kristin's birthday tonight. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KRISTIN!!!!! I hope we eat out somewhere good....and in response to my foot, I might order dessert.

Hola! Welcome to "I haven't done anything productive for the last three days and I love it" weekend! We went shopping on Friday again. I have been shopping a ton lately. I may need intervention for being a shopaholic. I don't know, maybe it is too soon for that I am consoled by the fact that I now have another pair of pink shoes. They are hot, and totally couture. I'm doing my laundry tomorrow. Praise the Lord! It is about a week overdo. Yuck! Thank goodness that my adoptive parents are letting me come over to their house to do it. It would cost a fortune to do that many loads here at school. They are also letting me go through a whole bunch of boxes of household items of which I can have whatever I want. Yay! Casserole dishes from the 60's! Oh well, saves me from having to buy new stuff. I can live with avocado and burnt orange cookware as long as it works. The Rosenau's are so encouraging. I feel very blessed to have them as friends. Besides a good long talk about my future, they also told me I looked like Annabeth Gish. I didn't know if that was a compliment or not so I looked her up on the internet. It was a good compliment. Thank you Lord for the good friends you have given me. I am trully blessed

Yo yo yo!

So I have decided that small cars really irritate me in relation to parking spots. I was driving around the C preferred lot looking for a highly coveted spot when I thought I spotted one. The key to that last sentence is "I thought".....well, I zoom to that space and....nearly rear end a parked car. Some silly little Geo, no bigger than a cockroach, was parked inconspicuously in the premo spot. Oh well...but it certainly is frustrating when your next option is to park in Siberia or Dike. This is somewhat ironic, however, because I really want a VW Bug. I would actually like a MINI Cooper, but they are too expensive so I figure that a Beetle would be a worthy substitute. The exciting thing about that is that I can whip into whatever parking spot I want, parallel or not. My only fear is that some big car owner will rear end me in their haste to get the parking spot I am in.

So I got some pink shoes today. They are cool shoes. They are made of foam. I am excited because I have never had a pair of shoes that the only maintenance they require is the occassional hose down. They are way comfy and have little prickly bumps on the soles to massage my feet. Oooooo, they had the coolest purse at the store and luckily I got one of those survey coupons on my receipt today. I am so going back to get that bag. A girl just can't have too many purses.
