My cats are spoiled. They even have their own couch. This couch was supposed to be a new bed for Bella. However Bella is scared of the sides of it.
So today I came home from lunch to find one cat in the couch, on the back porch soaking up the sun.

Senior session

Hello everyone!
I was thinking today how I have several sessions to share online and I haven't been able to post them. I just finished photos for a senior and I decided to just
get to posting.
This is Rachel and she is really one awesome girl. I had such a great time working with her and her family. And we couldn't have asked for a more perfect fall afternoon for photos!

I will be posting more sessions this week once we get through the Halloween activities!

I have been slightly neglectful on posting lately. But I haven't been slacking taking photos!

This is the view from my back porch,
last Thursday morning.

This photo gives me nightmares! This would've been a great mask to have had when I was 8 for totally making my lil'sister never sleep alone again!

This is from Stacey and Joe's wedding. I just love this image and location.

To the right is the Sarah and Sophie, I had been promising a session for their family for quite a while.
I was happy to finally work one in before I left Spfld. I just love this family.

And of course baby Ben and family. I have to stop calling him baby Ben soon. He's going to be 2 and not a baby really.
I figure when he is 23 we will still refer to him as baby Ben.

I am happy to share Stacey and Joe with you. I photographed their wedding yesterday at Westside (former home church) and the reception was at the Lincoln Museum. Everything went together so smoothly the only thing that could've been better was the weather. 98 degrees in October is just way too hot!

I am Macguyver

Well, I have really pulled a Macguyver tonight. This week my car window wouldn't go up when I pressed the switch. So as usual
I get into my fix it mode. After 28.5 years of taking things apart I usually end wishing I had someone else do it.

But anyway I took out the switch earlier in the week and the guys at work cleaned it up with some air and a dremel tool. Tonight as I went to put money in the car wash dryer hurricane force z dryer and my window went down and stopped. After numerous times of trying to remedy the situation I went into Macguyver mode.
I grabbed my grey Members Only jacket and stone washed jeans and used my pocket knife to get the switch out. I quickly realized that I needed a jumper
wire to bypass the main switch. Since all my real tools are in Champaign, the Macguyver method told me to grab a set of rabbit ears, an 8 oz bottle of coke and 1 shot of Captian Morgan. I used my knife to cut apart wire with the metal connector, googled for the wiring diagram of the component and up my window went.
I used the captian in my coke for a refreshing drink.

Now I know the google method is not really what the 1989 hit show star would have done but, I am thoroghly convinced that Macguyver would have mobile web on his phone. Seriously there is only so much you can know.

New House

Moving Day

Today is moving day from 2900 South Park. I don't feel sad right now, but its also 7am and I am rather tired.
I think come the actual closing it will sink in more. I don't expect there to be weeping and gnashing of teeth. I mean
its a house, not a loved one or your dog.
I think I just feel a little apathy because I have been a little stressed out to the max with all this move/packing/selling a house thing.

All I can say is I am looking forward to the end of the moving process. We still have the new house
to unpack, but that seems less stressful than packing and cleaning up the old place. Well, Erin - Amber- Sue have done a great
job cleaning up and packing up this place. I haven't done a whole lot with it - I just haven't been able too. My job was to drive the truck for the supplies we needed.
I am looking forward to our new house and the loveliness of a new home! I feel very fortunate to be moving into the place we
purchased. Very excited about setting up my office in our loft ,having a basement to create the most awesome dude hangout and the screened in back porch that over looks the pond!

So we have moved all our stuff, my business, computers, prints, customer products, albums and orders too.
I am balancing which location I am going to be at to finish orders when they all completely arrive.
This is a serious juggling act that I am keeping up with daily. Especially since the albums I use
are in such high demand right now that I few are on back order!

So all of you with orders, thank you for your patience as I relocate and I am working to ship items to all of you quickly!

I can't wait to move in and get some orders cranked out and sleep in my own bed! - Sleeping is one of my favorite activities - I sure do miss sleeping in my own bed!

Then there's Bella,

She's been a little out sorts lately with all the extra running around, trips to grandma's and staying in new places.
We haven't played ball lately because we've been moving 24/7. But she has been really good. Labs are the some of the best dogs.
She is going to love sitting in front of our new fireplace, under the plasma screen this winter!
