Forget the new xanga....it is not working....I will just stick with this one. Just updated it. So, I went to Captive Free this weekend. It was super fun. I got there are 9 am on Saturday. I was like one of the first people there. Courtney got there at 9:20 and Jarrod arrived like at 9:45. The first thing we did was listned to Captive Free. It was awesome. For those of you who don't know who Captive Free is there are a Christain rock band. Everyone was jumping around and stuff. That lastest about an hour. We then went to the first workshop we signed up for. Me, Jarrod, and Courtney signed up for this workshop that talked about spending money and stuff like that. We had to sit one the floor for an hour while everyone else got to sit on chairs. It stank. Pretty fun though. After our first workshop we had lunch. We had meatball sandwiches and it tasted really good. After lunch we had some free time, so Me, Jarrod and Courtney played bull. That was fun. We then had to go to our second workshop. We took a workshop called Chocolate and Coffee. That was really boring. We then went to a workshop that talked about heterosexuals vs. homosexuals. It was a really interesting class and had a lot of good points. After that we had another concert with Captive Free and they did a puppet show and it was really funny. Then we played games with Captive Free. That was interesting. We then had something called a Spirit Garage. We sat in the dark in a circle will candles and it was a quiet time for us to try to connect with God. One of the Captive Free memebers played the guitar the whole time and sang some calm verses. It was very peaceful and it was something I really needed. Just to get everything out and in the open. It was an emotional feeling, but I felt refreashed. After that Jarrod wanted to go to the sanctuary. We were allowed to before dinner if we wanted time alone or to pray. Me, Courtney and Jarrod went and we sat there and I hugged both of them and told them how I loved them. I felt really good and I was glad that one of the most important people in life could be there with me that weekend. Then after that we went to dinner. We had chicken, corn and filling for dinner. It was just okay. After that we had more time and we just chilled. Me and Courtney did our hair and got ready for the dance. After we had an hour and a half long Captive Free concert. That was really fun. We were clapping and jumping...kind of..lol...and just having a good time. We then had ice cream sundaes. Yummy! After that we had a DJed dance. It was super fun. I don't think I ever had so much fun at a dance. Maybe cause I actually danced. Jarrod was such a sweetheart. He requested our song. 100 Years. I am so glad they played it. Courtney danced with Zippity Zach. lol In the beginning of the dance I sat out alot and Jarrod just wanted to get on the dance floor and I was kind of nervous cause he has never seen me fast dance before cause I really don't. But I had nothing to worry about cause we had a great time. It was fun doing the Cha Cha slide. Courtney fast danced with us too. It was really fun! The dance was over at 11 and we got ready for bed and Jarrod set his stuff up next to mine and we were laying together and then we were told girls on one side and boys on another and it sucked. I gave Jarrod my pooh bear to sleep with. We were both upset, but whatever. I had the hardest time sleeping on the floor last night. Jarrod had to leave at 7 for Boy Scout Sunday. I was sad, but he woke me up and kissed me. He is soooo sweet! God, I love him! His mom came at 7:15 and he left. It was so sad..... Me and Courtney had breakfast. I just had pancakes. We then got ready for Sunday school with Captive Free. That was soo fun! Me and Courtney were jumping around. We were so thrilled they sang the Hippo song. I know that sounds really stupid, but it is fun to sing to. We then had some time and we had church. Captive Free did the the church service. We then had hotdogs for lunch. At 1 we went home. So sad. I miss this weekend! It brought Me, Jarrod and Courtney closer I believe. I came home went to Boscov's with my mom to look for a formal outfit. We didn't find anything. We went to Wal-mart and found a skirt, but we are also going to the mall after Newspaper tomorrow. We are going to return it if we find something else. I hope to find a dress at the Deb Shop tomorrow. We came home then. I took a shower and a nap. For dinner my mom took me out to Taco Bell. That was my weekend. Can't wait until tomorrow to look for clothes! I also can't wait for the formal on Friday!
