| FYIThe guys from Cody Rivers are presenting two world premier one-acts - a fantastical solo performance about bomb-makers and space ports, and a partial biography of the character Cody Rivers.
Dec. 27-29 and Jan. 10-12 at 8 pm "Boom," a solo performance by Andrew Connor, and "A Cody is Born," a by Mike Mathieu iDiOM Theater, 1418 Cornwall, Bellingham tix $10 - at the door or reserve seats (recommended) at 360.201.5464
Please note there are no performances the weekend of Jan. 2-5. Because ...
We are filming a television pilot that week. We have collaborated with director/producer Bob Goodwin (the X-Files, Life Goes On, The Fugitive) to adapt and expand our live material, and the result is pretty excellent. In addition to Mike and Andy it will feature Bellinghamsters Robin Corsberg and Kent Loomer, as well as Mark Chavez and Shenoah Allen of the Pajama Men. Bob has organized an unbelievable crew and we are shooting all of it in Mount Vernon and Bellingham. Which is where you come in ... We are shooting two sequences requiring "extras," and we would like you to be there. Sunday Jan 6, 1pm to 6pm Lincoln Theater - 712 South First St. - Mount Vernon, WA- 1 to 6 pm Looking for 200-500 people to sit in as a live audience, get filmed for "reaction shots," etc. First come first admitted, no RSVP necessary. Participants must stay for the full 5 hours, must be willing to be filmed, and will not receive any monetary compensation for this appearance.
Tuesday Jan 8 from 9 to 3 The Nightlight - 211 E Chesnut St, Bellingham We are shooting our "blue angels" dance sketch inside an actual club and we would like to have about 50 other club-goers populating the place while Andrew and I do the dance. Again, no RSVP, participants must agree to be there the whole time, be filmed, and not get paid.
We'll probably send another message soon to remind and offer some guidelines (parking, clothing, etc.). Subject will be "TV pilot - extras info" or something.
Can't thank you enough, tCRS

| posting from Mi Piace in Friday Harbor. This my first experience with laptops and other peoples wireless, I'm having a little trouble with the rhythm. Eating lunch, checking email and keeping tabs on the crowd. Usually I read when I have lunch alone so this shouldn't be that much different except that usually my computer use is at home without other distractions. The Herbed Chicken and Argal panini is delicious. The music pretty cool italian opera/holiday. And the German man at the counter (who just got in last night from Seattle) has learned the Chinese waitresses name is Ada, which if pronounced with a soft A (ahda) would mean crazy in Chinese. Her name is pronounced "Ayda". now u know I should go back to work | | |
| there was a Marine dressed out in his blues behind a table outside Barkley Haggen handing out...something. As I passed, ignoring him (still irritated that I'm not one) a little old lady hobbled up and inquired if he was with the Salvation Army. As I procceeded into the store, unable to suppress an amused smile, I heard him begin to answer "No ma'am, the US Marine Corps is not part of the salva...." | | |
