So my feet hurt tonight after a long day of walking for work. I calculated that I burned something like 2500 calories... time for some balancing ice cream you say?

Today is my second official day, which is leaps and bounds better than my first - which was spent in the depths of Compton, one of LA's more notorious ghettos. Not that it's so super dangerous, but it is notorious for a reason.

So my first week of training at Cb is complete. It was everything you might expect a class devoted to sales would be. I have two more days of training this Monday, and then it's to the field with me.

The biggest surprise for me is how close in relationship my company is like a youth group. They support each other, have "sermons" on attitude and integrity, and they have games/raffles to lift morale... Essentially, it's a early career group that worships money. I feel almost like I'm treading onto an alien world, or a parallel universe.

Today deserves a blog- or a chapter of blogs. I have quickly come to the end of my means as of today, and now I am forced to start selling pieces of earth that I am emotionally attached to. This is a life lesson coming to fruition, and how is a young man to avoid it? I just hope the repercussions of where I am do not determine where and who I must be.
