Hello, hello. I keep in pretty good contact with Randy and with Kellen. I'd heard about some of the other moves, but not about all -- so thanks for the update! I'm not sure whether I'll be down for Thanksgiving or not. It's a fairly significant (and growing as airfares increase) financial investment every time I travel down to La. And I'm buying one ticket already to fly my mom up here for my promotion ceremony in September. I also want to use some funds to travel a bit and actually go on an actual vacation. So I might not be down until Christmas/New Years. The jist (gist?) of my last couple of posts is that the Air Force is basically downsizing -- which creates both opportunity and cause for worry. I do get to go to Seattle in a couple of weeks for a conference. I've been up to Portland, OR, but that's the only place in tne Northwest I've ever traveled to.

PS - What brought Jortney to Laf? I haven't kept up well with them...
