one more week of freedom. :/ summer school, here I come. dangit!

so I went to Berkner's graduation this weekend, and I realized something about graduation. You have all this pent up energy and excitement about graduation day and finally getting out and what not. But nothing miraculous happens on that stage, you simply... walk across. Then all of a sudden it's all over, and you feel as though that wasn't enough. Yeah, you walked, and you got your diploma and everything, but that's it. I donno. I just remember it being a weird feeling after it was all said and done, almost disappointing.

my birthday is saturday, 19 sounds so boring.

oh yeah, I donno if I mentioned, I got a job at Trade Secrets at Town East, thanks to Tara! I haven't started yet, but I shall soon (:

I felt that way about graduation too.... time is just flying by. Boo for summer school. Eh, maybe it'll be easier at a community college. Did I mention that I adore your background?!? Have a great week.

aww yeah. i definatley agree with the graduation thing... i didnt' feel like i was graduating until i was about to walk across the stage, and then i "did, and i was like ".....ok?"

i started today in a good mood, i'm so proud of myself. you would be ,too, heat.

i think the energy building up when we were seniors wasn't necessarily for the actual graduation, but for what it stands for and what waits after it. the idea of graduation and adventures to come is what excited me.

i realized the same thing while i watched mhs graduate. i was like, dang we're all so excited for something so boring.

so it is the idea. the theory.
