i sorely miss playing/jamming/worshipping with you folks back at home. you know who you are!

Martha.. 9.2004-3.2007

--------------------------------------------- Today is a sad day. I just heard news that my pet hamster passed away back in America..   There's a story behind how this hamster became my pet. This hamster used to be pet for the place I used to work at. She needed a home so i decided to take her. Martha was the cutest and the gentlest hamster you'll ever meet. Usually, hamsters are known for their feistiness and for biting but this one was so gentle and never bit me or any one of my friends and family.

with the excuse of not having a digital camera or ("dee-ka" in korean), i really haven't had any pics to post. well, i got my hands on a couple of pics.

on the first pic, that's me claiming my prize for coming in 2nd place for a bible quiz contest we had at the church. (so close to being first!!)

the second pic is a pic of the bulletin team for our church's English Ministry.

and the uploaded audio file is a very low quality recording of "Every Move I Make" during practice for the church EM's praise team. oh, i'm on the bass by the way.

so much has happened since coming to korea. i'm eating great food, learning how to get around via bus and subway, taking seminary classes, doing sermon translations, serving on praise team again and getting my share of culture shock on a frequent basis. and in the midst of all the changes and challenges, if there's one thing that i can attest to, it's God's faithfulness. Thank you God for leading me thus far.
