So funny story, I guess.

I went to Kansas City today with Abby to see blast! (which is amazing by the way) and since its about a 3.5 hour drive, she wanted me to help drive. She drives a stick...I drive an automatic...I'm just learning how to drive a stick (on her car, which isn't great, it used to be a rental car). So we decide that she's gonna drive to Columbia, on the semi-winding back road, then once we hit 70, I'll take over. No big deal right? I only have problems going from stopped to first gear. The rest is cake. So its all good, until we hit Kansas City...didn't realize we had to actually drive THROUGH the city, that we were headed to Kansas City, Kansas...traffic comes to a halt. Oh great, I'm gonna stall on the interstate. Luckily, I did not...came close a couple times though. So I tell Abby that once we hit our exit, that I want her to take over, since we weren't sure exactly where we were going, and I figured I'd end up hitting the brake without the clutch in a hurry to turn or something. So we pull off the highway, hit a stoplight, and pull a chinese fire drill to switch places. We go through the light...first building is our hotel. The sign was hidden by a bush from the stoplight. So not only were we laughing at ourselves, but her mom and her mom's boyfriend saw the whole thing (we were meeting them there) and were laughing their asses off.

Now wasn't that a great story?

Okay, so this is a bit late lol...but...I'm back from China! which was absolutely amazing! I wish I'd had another week there...So much fun...

Bday's tomorrow...big 18! So I have to go renew my driver's license, which I can't until my birthday, even though it expires on my birthday, because I was brilliant and got my first license ON my bday, and your license changes when you turn 18...So when I turn 21, I will again have to go to the DMV that day and renew, because once again, the license changes...stupid Missouri license rules
