Man, it has been awhile since I've written an entry in here. Unfortunately I'm not going to write about every detail of my life that has happened since April. Instead, I'm putting up pictures from Christmas, so enjoy!
December 24

This is my dad cutting up meat .... some really good piece of tender juicy medium rare meat ...

This is my older brother Jimmy with my cousin's daughter Abigail (12 months).

This is Emily, my other cousin's daughter. She gets really freaked out when she's in a room with lots of people ... even if it's people she knows. This is the one I babysit all the time. Emily is such a cutie pie I just want to steal her and keep her for myself.

That's my cousin Mei (pronounced May) with her daughter Emily (right), Melissa (center), Isabel (left), Baby Abigail (top), and my Aunt Shirley -- in our family we call her Goo. I never realized how funny that sounded until Thomas laughed at me when I first said it to him. Isabel and Abigail are sisters, Emily and Melissa are real cousins to each other, and Isabel and Abigail are "fake" cousins (???) with Emily and Melissa -- their moms are cousins to each other so what does that make them???

Here are the girls again: (from left to right) Isabel, Abigail, Melissa, and Emily. Just to warn you, most of these pictures are just of these girls. These kids are really the main attraction whenever we have these family events. It's entertaining to see what new trick these kids learn everytime we get together.

Me holding Abigail

Isabel and her uncle (and my cousin) Vince. My brother pointed out that he looked like Jason Lee from that show called "My Name is Earl".

Melissa in a car. She's the rambunctious one.

The girls ... again.

The two on the couch is my cousin Susan and her husband Gordon. Melissa is their kid.

This is a rare moment ... my little brother Jason hardly plays with the kids let alone kiss them.

This has to be one of my most favoritist picture of all time. This little tyke is Evan (Emily's brother), the other baby I babysit. He gets a kick out of it when you use your foot to tickle him.

Me and Jason. Thomas says my neck looks fat. =(

Jimmy looks like an Oompla-Loompa but without the green hair.

This is our annual white elephant game with the family, but this year instead of actual gifts that we'll probably end up returning we each brought $20 gift cards. Not a bad idea, but it just takes away the fun from seeing what kind of stuff people decide to buy.

My cousin Victor wins a Cheesecake Factory giftcard.

Jimmy picked a McDonalds giftcard.

I got a Safeway giftcard.

My daddy got one of the 3 Costco giftcards (all of which my mom decided to buy for this game).

My mom and dad

My cousin Vivian (in the red) added a new game to this get-together: BINGO! I love me some bingo.

This is Vivian's husband Dan (Isabel and Abigail's dad) next to the prizes. The rules are if you get a bingo you can either get a guaranteed good prize or you choose from either prize A, B, C, or D and get an even better prize or a crappy prize. This game got pretty intense.

my mom won tumblers

and my dad practically won everything else until Vivian and Dan decided that he wasn't allowed to win anymore gifts.
It's gift opening time ... for the kids at least ...

I got those hop-o-roos and the ladybug height measuring thing for the girls.

...these are some spoiled kids.

This is Isabel's closet. I think it's bigger than mine and she has things I'll probably never own, i.e. a fur coat. She also has in there an entire snowboarding outfit from REI (that purple thing I'm touching).

Emily saying bye in a coat that's 2 sizes too big.
December 25
Usually Chrismas Eve is the more exciting of the two days. Gifts are sparse and dinner isn't that spectacular either, but that's okay because it's still a nice day with the family.

We got my mom a purse that I know FOR SURE that she likes because SHE'S THE ONE WHO PICKED IT OUT. She didn't know that we were getting it for her of course. She's the pickiest woman in the world.

My older brother gave her some cash and a card with a picture of him and his new girl. I don't want to say more because he might be reading this.

I got Jason 2 pairs of jeans and this brown blazer, but I had him pick one between the three because I'm broke and he could pay for the others himself if he wanted. Aren't I just so sweet?

Jason got me that silver belt and that tank top.

My cousin Mei got me these Nike wristbands with a watch in it. I actually got a compliment the other day when I wore it. Yay. I like compliments. Who doesn't? Thanks.

Jimmy got me and Jason Volume 4 of Family Guy. I LOVE FAMILY GUY.

I thought it was pretty funny how we got Jimmy the same one.

Family dinner that night.

Jimmy took a picture of me sleeping or actually of him just waking me up. He's such a punk because he likes doing this to me. I had put a sign up on my door one night because his flight was coming in the next morning. It said: "Do not try to wake me up because I haven't been getting any sleep this past week. I'm talking about Jimmy." And sure enough it worked.

The hat matched my shirt.
Well, that's it. I know that was a lot to take in (a lot of the kids that is). Until next time ...
